Ishida Ryuuken: the most undercover protective/doting dad!

He’s helped heal his son, restore his powers, healed him again and now he brings him his dinner! Sure it’s because he wants to keep those nurses’ claws off his boy but it’s cute that he makes such an effort to “protect” him (even from non-existent threats), especially when Uryu is so antagonistic toward him most of the time!

Just a quick thing I’d like to touch on from the manga--

It’s canon that Quincy have to be EXTRA careful around hollows. It can literally kill them over time due to this information. That means the entire time Uryuu has been putting his life on the line has been MORE DANGEROUS than most would ever think. Changing one’s reiatsu to resemble a hollow’s for a split moment is more deadly to the Quincy than most would ever dream.
