A little update, but now with a little more protags ^^
So I finally upgraded my sht ahh endearing ender 3 pro to a bambu p2s and I was thinking, can I make my art into smth physical. Yes I can. Experimented with a few prototypes and here are the results:
I varied thickness, size and the side of printing and parameters, and the bottom left is what I think I am most satisfied with.
(Pardon the smudge there, its cos the printing temp for the grey is a lot lower than the bambu default parameters and it ended up stringing and the printer just printed over it. Creality and Bambu PLA apparently works at a higher temperature than Prusa ones. Not sure who would need this info but I'll just put it here anyway.)
I might play around with this a bit more. And I'm not sure if I these would sell at a convention but it would be interesting to try bringing this to the table... literally.
Since I alr drew Yu before, I might just do his next ^^
Another one of my P5X art that I didn't share it here till now. Can check this out on my xhs/red note page as well. ^^
I just realised I didn't post it here and it's long overdue 0.0
Can check it out on my xhs/rednote page if any of ya'll are using that.
I wanted to do some TBHX acrylic keychain designs but then this happened so...
Lunch Kaki
'Kaki' (Kah-Kee) originates from malay which means "leg", but also used as a colloqial term for "close friend" or "buddy" in Singapore and Malaysia.
The term, "Lunch Kaki" is a Singlish slang which directly translates to a person with whom one regularly hangs out with during lunch, be it a friend, a colleague or an acquaintance.
Yes they are lunch kakis, I totally headcannon it.
Clark constantly dropping by Fomo just to catch X before he slinks off for lunch alone. And X can somewhat tolerate the guy so why not?
Alright, this is my entry for the Speak Your Own Language Day, so let’s see how it goes…
Singlish
*Ahem*
First ah, I got one chart I sui sui found on google just for this.
I give yall examples:
1. Alamak (Malay)
“Alamak, why like that?” = “Oh my god, how did things turn out this way?”
Same meaning as “Walao eh!” (Hokkien)
2. Makan (Malay)
“Eh, this kopitiam like not bad sia, wan makan here anot?” = “Hey, this food place seems pretty popular, do you want to eat here?”
3. Lah, Lor, Leh, Meh
“Can lah.” = “Of course!”
“Liddat lor.” = “It’s just like that.”
“This leh?” = “What about this?”
“Can meh?” = “Is this possible?”
4. Paiseh (Hokkien)
“Ey shit, paiseh ah, forgot liao.” = “Oh no, I’m sorry, I forgot this.”
(Yes “shit” is somehow not a curse word here, everyone says it all the time, including children. Nobody censors it.)
5. Kaypoh or KPO (Hokkien)
“You ah, sibei kaypoh leh.” = “Why are you such a busybody?”
6. Steady
“Eh, you damn steady ah.” = “Wow, you’re pretty good at this.”
(I don’t know why it’s here, I hardly ever hear this anymore.)
7. Shiok (Hokkien)
This one my favourite.
“Wah air-con damn shiok sia…” = “Wow, the air-conditioned room feels so refreshing.”
(I think people in Florida feel our pain. 35 deg C, 85% HUMIDITY AND NO SEASONS ISTG—)
8. Bo liao (Hokkien)
“Ey you damn bo liao sia…” = “You have nothing better to do.”
9. Kiasu (Hokkien)
“My ahma sibei kiasu. Go pasar malam in the morning for what?” = “My grandma is so impatient! Why would she go to the night market in the morning?”
(Hah. FOMO? Kiasu came first. It’s literally in our blood. Singaporeans are allergic to waiting.)
10. Atas (Malay)
“Wah this restaurant so atas confirm plus chop sibei ex one!” = “Wow, this restaurant is so extravagant, it must definitely be expensive to eat here!”
Other notable phrases:
1. Abuden
Combination of “A-Bo” = “if not” (Hokkien) and “then” (English). Meaning: Duh.
2. Blur
Used to describe some who is absent-minded, inattentive or clumsy. A common phrase is “Blur Sotong”. Sotong is Malay for squid.
Example: “You blur like sotong.”
3. Goondu
Tamil origin. Used to describe a clumsy or fat person.
Example: “You goondu.”
4. Chope
Malay origin, evolved from the word “cap” which is “to mark” or “to stamp”. Means to claim or reserve something.
Example: “This seat I chope already hor, don’t anyhow ah…” = “I’ve already reserved this seat so don’t try anything funny…”
(Yes yes, our infamous choping culture. It’s a trend btw. I think the wildest thing I’ve seen someone used to chope a seat was their phone. Yep. Not kidding.)
5. Siao
Hokkien origin. Means “crazy”.
Example: “You siao is it?” = “Are you crazy?”
6. Kaki
Malay origin. Means friend.
Example: “Eh don’t go home late ah, later you end up got kaki then you know.” = “Don’t come home late, or else you might invite a ‘friend’ on your way home.”
Swee la, done liao. Any kaki who reached here, ya’ll damn steady lah! I wan go toh on my bed liaoz. Bye.
So I’m recently back in the pkmn TCG collection grind and I also have been simping over uh I mean… casually enjoying one of my favourite animes of all time.
So I thought…
(Also I can’t get over the fact that Bisharp is also 1.6m… but not for long because when it evolves into Kingambit it becomes 2m XD)
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
I had a lot of fun working with my partners on this project! I am especially happy that I was able to work on this Big Bang @proflaytonbigbang!!! It was such a huge honer for me to be here!
So I am happy to tell you a bit about the story !
In Professor Layton and the vanished children, where Layton, along with his apprentice Luke and the ever-curious Flora, arrive in the quiet town of Bruntown, a place clouded by the mystery of disappearing children. They are greeted by Annabell, a local teacher, who introduces them to the town’s key locations, including a forbidding castle on the hill—a place linked to the missing children. As the group investigates, they are unexpectedly reunited with Desmond, a figure from Layton’s past with his own reasons for being there.
While tensions between Luke and Desmond simmer, the group delves deeper into the town’s history, discovering strange discrepancies between old maps and modern ones. A mysterious tower, erased from recent records, becomes the center of their inquiry. As they split up to question the townspeople, emotional revelations unfold—Flora wrestles with her past and place in the group, while Desmond seeks redemption for his former misdeeds. But just as their investigation gains momentum, an unexpected chase leads them into a hidden passageway, where they fall victim to a shadowy figure and an unseen danger.
The book blends puzzles, emotional growth, and escalating tension, all while the characters inch closer to uncovering a dark truth hidden beneath the surface of Bruntown.
This is my piece for the @proflaytonbigbang !
I had the honer working with @shirozawa and @inkzix !!!
I had a lot of fun working with them both, and I am so happy that I could participate in this event!!

What’s it about you ask…? Well this reminds me of a puzz— I’m kidding. If you’re interested click to find out :)
I also did an art for this which looks something like this…
Do check out the artists who’ve done art on this too. They are all ✨✨✨

walking distance poll
• speaking for your own definition in a private context (for example not what you would expect when a hotel advertises a "beach at walking distance" but rather if you want to go somewhere, what distance do you consider within your personal walking distance)
• you can walk at any pace you like, fast or slow
• you can take as many breaks as you like, the only thing that matters is the total time that it takes you to get from point A to point B
• you can use any medical mobility aids you want/need to cross the distance
what do you consider "walking distance"?
< 15 mins (under 15 mins)
< 30 mins
< 45 mins
< 60 mins
< 90 mins
< 120 mins
any distance that i physically can walk is "walking distance"
