Ibuki

- I think he smokes camel crush menthols

-firmly believes that the menthol keeps the cigarette smell down (lies)

-mainly smokes to kill time on breaks at work or if he’s especially stressed.

-has a small box of cigars and has even tried rolling some himself as a hobby.

Free

-smokes Marlboro reds, but he isn’t picky when he’s bumming a cig. Probably smokes black n milds on the occasion.

-thinks they make him look cooler.

-definitely addicted and gets soooo easily agitated when he goes too long without a smoke.

Agata

-smokes Marlboro Ice blast (Japan exclusive, they are soooo good)

-doesn’t like how cigarettes taste but the others bullied him into at least having a light pack on him. Marlboro ice blast legit tastes like gum, vape in cigarette form.

-He’s more likely to smoke weed or vape.

-has like 5 vapes cause he’s always losing one so he just over bought them.

Dolph

-smokes lucky strike 100’s and Marlboro edges (my favs that are slowly getting discontinued 😔)

-loves a cheap strong smoke, except for when it comes to cigars, which he loves.

-Has a pretty cool cigar collection

-Him and Ibuki will go back and forth and share what brands of cigars they’ve tried or liked.

Jinma

-smokes Newport golds but he’ll settle for Marlboro menthols if Newports arnt an option.

-likes to sit down and smoke by himself. It’s like a mini reset for him.

-late night smoker, especially if he can’t stop thinking about work or his own personal stressors.

-subconsciously smokes on the opposite side of his spot so it draws less attention. He’s so self conscious of his looks especially with his mane being short 😔

Hino

-Virginia slims, super slims purple.

-only smokes when he’s had a few to many cocktails because it makes him feel classy.

-tries to stay away from nicotine cause he doesn’t want the health effect to impact his looks.

-the only other cigarette he’ll smoke is Marlboro ice blast and he goes straight to Agata.

-Agata now knows to not give hino any drunk cigs because he’ll get nic sick. The man smokes VERY cigarettes with very low tar and nicotine yields so he can easily over do it.

-naturally the others tease him for it.

Sabu

-smokes Marlboro blacks with the red ribbon.

-chain smoker to the max, it’s one of the few times he’ll even slightly lift up his bandana.

-Once Free snuck into his stash of bandanas and cut slits where his mouth would be as a prank.

“I just thought it’d save you some time”

He then got his ass beat.

Miguel

- also smokes camel crushes, but it’s mainly for the duality of them. (If you don’t crush the ball in the filter it’s a normal/non-menthol cigarette)

- whenever he’s smoking with the others, he’ll get fidgety and as he’s rolling the cig he’ll absentmindedly crush the ball. He’ll take another hit and taken back by the sudden minty burst. Poor guys does it a lot 😭

- Miguel always lights someone else’s cigarette before lighting his own if they’re standing together.

“Pretty girls don’t light there own cig”

-specifically teases Jinma and Agata with this line, because they both get flustered. Free always cracks up, usually just gets a chuckle or a grunt from most of the guys.

Dope

-smokes kool filter kings and wine wood tip black and milds.

-always has a lighter on him, he has multiple in fact. Agata loses his frequently so, dope just started carrying an extra around.

-he’ll smoke two or three in one setting instead of throughout the day.He’ll chain smoke when he’s drinking with the guys though.

-smokes them hella fast, like it’ll take some of the other any where from 10-15 minutes to smoke a cigarette. It takes him 5 minutes max.

Oooo, Another fun one. I'm so sad my baby wasn't in the anime.

-He used to skateboard everywhere as a kid.

-Sold weed in High School 100% he probably hid pre-rolls in his boots.

-I feel like he's the oldest brother and his mom definitely made him take his little brother to the skate park (or smoke sesh's) with him.

-I think he got really into motorcycles when he first joined the gang. He probably hung up his old board in honor of his younger days lol.

-Sees a part of his younger self in Free, surprisingly. I think Sabu was just as much a player, but with a different aesthetic.

-I think he got into a more long-term relationship when he hits his 30's and it snapped him out of it though.

-gives Hella silent bob vibes but get him drunk or high his silly side comes out.

-Get him too drunk and he's fighting you and everyone else.

-Smoke's Marlboro blacks with the red ribbon. Lungs of steel.

Random dope Headcanons

We have the same eyebrows and I'm biased, so I think that makes him the best so Lemme do a lil dump

-I think he was a really quiet kid, super reserved. Always in his head.

-Probably got bullied for his lil eyebrow dots.

-He was such a smart kid, if his parents hadn't lived in the black market, he could have thrived in a gifted kids program.

-once he got into high school he definitely turned into the silent guy with anger issues trope.

-I think he would freestyle with his buddies in high school. He was probably a little delinquent like Agata. Somehow had perfect grades regardless though.

-He's got a good grip on his emotions, very aware of himself. He doesn't want to be that guy, but if he can't use his negotiation skills to get people to screw off, he'll get to brawlin baby. He just needs an excuse he can deem justifiable.

-being the second youngest, a lot of work falls on him and Agata, poor dudes back hurts so bad.

-on his days off he definitely just plays video games for most of the day. He'll get on with Agata if their free-time lines up or if they're just passing time as a group.

Shishigumi music headcanons Pt. 3

Thank yall all for the likes and support, this has been so fun to put together. I’ll probably repost a bigger post with all of these in one and pin it on my blog since I’m actively adding to everyone’s playlists as I go about my day.

- Jinma

* He’s would like more rhythmic music, good songwriting, layered production, and music that gets stuck in his head.

* He’s a chill guy, but I can see him having a little silly side and I can see him liking some “comedy rock”, songs with dry sarcastic humor that’s got him feeling young and wild again.

* Genres he would like are: Alternative Rock, Dream Pop, Alternative R&B, Indie Rock, and Ambient Electronic.

* Artists he would listen to are Bloodhound Gang, OutKast, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, White Town, Sublime, Miguel, Cigarettes After Sex.

* He shares a similar vibe with ibuki and dolphs music taste. He loves late night drives with ibuki b/c they can just put on some death cab for cutie and sit in each others silence.

* I feel like he’s the kind of guy who’s got a lot of big feelings, but takes it out in the gym, I feel like his gym playlist is when he really listens to the more alternative rock and indie rock stuff in the gym.

* He listens to music as a way to keep him in a calm mood, as a way to stabilize himself. He won’t ever admit it though.

- Hino

* He likes slow music, something to chill him out and let his mind rest. Quiet yet emotional.

* Genres he’d like are alternative rock, lo-fi, chill wave, and indie pop/rock.

* I don’t think he’d like specific artists, I honestly just think his playlist would just be songs he liked (which is rare b/c he listens to music to wind down in bed). Artists that give his main vibe would be glass animals, the sundays and ark patrol.

* He loves putting on lo-fi playlists to go to bed. Something he doesn’t have to focus on, he can just sink into a blanket and chill.

* He might occasionally listen to music on the subway/train and I think that’s would be more alternative hip-hop. I think the certain sub genre that fits him would be “cloud rap” it’s basically very ethereal and ambient, which I think fits hino super well.

- Sabu

* he likes music that’s high energy, rebellious and fun. Something he can flip someone off to while he’s out on his bike on the highway.

* Genres he’d like are Ska punk, Nu metal, rock-rap, punk and funk- rock.

* Artists he’d like would consist of Korn, Limp bizkit, bloodhound gang, sublime, ween, System of a Down, static-X, crazy town, holly wood undead, The beastie boys, and the offspring.

* He plays that shit as loud as he can when he’s on his bike.

* He likes to throw on this kind of music when him and the guys get to the point in the night where they’re a few beers in and ready to fight.

* Dude used to fuck up a mosh pit back in the day. I think he got a past eyebrow piercing ripped out that way.

* I think that’s one day Agata was listening to some SOAD and Sabu was just like “where’d you hear that band from, kid?” And then proceeded to show him his entire CD collection out of pure joy. (He had a poker face the whole time ofc)

- Dope

* He’d like Music that’s cold instead of chaotic, Deep bass, slow tempos, minimal production.

* Genres he’d like are Memphis rap, Deep South rap, dark trap, and trip-hop.

* Artists he’d like are OutKast, 1nonly, Denzel curry, the pharcyde and ski mask the slump god.

* Doesn’t sing along to songs, but he’ll nods and tap the steering wheel.

* He listens to a lot of “older tracks” other than what’s trending. Agata likes to snatch the Aux and “put him on some real shit”…he lets one song play out and then changes it back to something like OutKast and just shakes his head. Don’t even think about doing it a second time. He’s so patient but not when it comes to his tunes.

* A lot of the music he listens to he considers classics, which in his head equals unskippable and will get pissed if you skip them.

* When he’s mad, he goes quiet and plays slower, darker tracks. Stuff like DJ screw.

- Miguel

* He likes relaxed and confident sounding music, especially for when he’s hitting the gym.

* Genres he’d likes are Reggae rap, reggaeton, Latin hip-hop, and west coast hip hop. He’s got a very sunny vibe to his music.

* Artists he’d like are sublime, cypress hill, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, bad bunny, mellow man ace, and shaggy.

* His music taste takes you back for a moment because he’s so intimidating and then he’s just vibing to some beach music.

* Him and dope definitely bump to cypress hill. Miguel 100% put dope onto them after showing him the skull and bones album, which he borrowed from sabu’s CD collection.

Shishigumi Music Headcanons Pt. 2

Okay, I had so much fun with agata’s play list, lmk what yall think. (this is just what I think they’d like based off of what music I have access to and have listen to before.)

- Dolph:

* He would probably like mid-tempo songs, something that feels more controlled that keeps you listening. Very moody kind of vibe to this big boy.

* Some styles and genres I think he’d like are RnB and alternative rock. I can also see him liking industrial rock/electronic. Simple guy.

* I think he’d like staind, deftones, Alice In Chains, the neighborhood, glass animals and the weekend. Let’s add sublime for some nostalgia.

* I think him and Agata would share a similar music taste and that he even put Agata onto a lot of “oldies”.

* Whenever he’s feeling super nostalgic he’ll listen to badfish by sublime for funsies. Him and Sabu also have some fun with “nostalgic” rock. Just two old men smoking and remembering.

* He’d be the type to make a playlist based on the vibe instead of a specific artist or genre though.

* He’s probably listened to same music for the past few years. Roasted the same music on late night drives/ smokes.

* If you compliment his music he’ll just shrug and say it’s white noise. He actually very attentive and notices details like bass lines, etc.

- Agata:

* He likes high energy music, something to get his blood pumping ngl. Very bass heavy. Something for a quick confidence boost.

* Genres he’d like are Nu metal, alternative metal, rap metal, southern hip-hop/phonk. Trap metal!!!

* Bands/ artists he’d like are City morgue, $uicideboy$, limp bizkit, static-X, System of a Down, korn, chevelle, Freddie dredd, gangsta pat. (honestly, I could go on forever with this boys music taste.)

* Volume? All the way up. Did he get a subwoofer put in his car? Yes.

* When he shows you the part of the song he likes the most, he’ll turn it all the way up and then look at you to see if you’re as hyped as him.

* Has one giant playlist so he’ll jump from trap to Nu-metal without blinking.

* Drums on the steering wheel and drives WAY too fast. Hot girls hit curbs, but it’s just agata running errands for the gang with the bass BOOSTED.

* When he gets high he listens to sublime and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Probably a secret fan of weezer too ngl. Real teenage dirtbag vibes when he’s high.

I’m a big music person, so I wanted to make some playlists for each shishigumi member with what I head-canon they listen to.

(Mommy had her midnight glass of wine during this, so lmk if anything’s spelled wrong or anything.)

- Ibuki

* I think he’d be the kind of guy to like more Orchastral, minimalist and almost cinematic feeling songs. Something artsy to add a lil whimsy back in his life b/c dear lord does this man need it.

* Styles I think he’d like are Art/ experimental pop, definitely indie pop, trip-hop, neo-soul/ Nu jazz and house music. I think he hops around depending what mood he’s in.

* Artists I think he would like range from little dragons, Aphex Twin, Death cab for cutie, Fiona Apple, bjork, Amy whine house, radio head and OutKast.

* I think the others might tease him if they found out he like Fiona Apple and bjork, but for the most part he listens to more mature music around others.

* He’d love a lil speakeasy jazz club, a glass of whiskey and just him vibing.

* Free introduced him to OutKast and that’s what they usually listen to in the car together.

- Free

* He’d like music that’s more high-energy, has aggressive vocals, fast-paced, and high octane stuff. He’s his own hype man and you can tell from what he listens to, something to boost that ego, baby.

* Styles/ genres I think he’d like are classic hip-hop, drift phone, Chicano rap, crunk, neo-soul, R&B, and surprisingly 90’s eurodance ofc with phonk themes incorporated. A good beat and flow is very important to him.

* Some artists he’d like would range from OutKast, Soulja boy, Mr.Sancho, Stacey Q, culture beat, Bone thugs n harmony, DJ Screw,etc.

* He says he just like rap, but really he likes to get emerged with the song, he secretly really respects these artists for their ability to not only produce music but the lyrics of each song as well. (A good beat and a solid flow go a long way.)

* Likes finding underground artists at some of the car meets he goes to.

Another TOTK and TADC crossover. Pomni and Jax take a break from their adventures to take a picture of the rare electric rhino beetle to show Kinger.

Below are some random head canons I have for this AU if anyone is interested in reading.

Though Pomni takes the role of Zelda, she was the royal court jester before being adopted by the king (which is Kinger obviously).

No one knows why Kinger chose Jax of all people to be Pomni's appointed knight. Many blame his declining mental state after his wife had passed. Pomni did not like Jax at first, and Jax hated his role, but as time went on, they became closer. Also, unlike the king in TOTK, Kinger is alive and happy in this AU, I don't care how, lol.

Unlike in TOTK, Jax's abstracted arm isn't 'borrowed', but is actually corrupted by this world's version of 'malice' (abstraction), and there's no known cure, so he has to live with it.

Jax's corrupted arm occasionally 'flares up', causing him pain and illness that he constantly has to fight against.

Jax attempted many times to cover the abstracted arm due to the eyes freaking him out. But over time, any fabric covering his arm would rot away and disintegrate.
