I love working with string because it’s a totally malleable material; dude can be knotted, frayed, wrapped (the list goees on). I take string out of its earthly use and give it a new aesthetic purpose. This piece brings together a dusky morning sunrise with a woven möbius square and flying letters - to imitate a flock of drifting birds - that portray a sense of who we are and where we’re at. Bringing intricacies and concepts to you, entwined.
