Package Design Assignment: Milk Cartons - for this project in Graphic Design, we were told to choose a product and design a package for it. I chose milk cartons, making a set of five and something for each side of the carton. (most cartons repeat the front design on the back, which is why there are only 3 sides.) ‪

"Bubble Girl" Wow...I haven't uploaded anything from graphic design in a while! This was an independent project I did that my teacher saw and asked to put in the GCAA art show. I used the lowpoly technique, but with circles instead.

Art Show

GUYS! Grand Center Arts Academy is having it’s biggest art show of the year this week! 

Every year, the visual art department has a spring art show, which compiles art from the whole year from all arts classes and grade levels. This is the first year with Graphic Design, and I have several things in the show, both in design and photography!

The event is this Thursday, April 21, from 6-8pm. Also, this year, for the first time, we are having an “art shop”, where anything reproducible (photos and prints, mostly) will be sold.

Nature: Part II

Hey everybody! (Sorry I haven’t been posting in a while.) Our next photography project will be to shoot the second part of the nature project! 

For those who don’t know, the Nature: Part I assignment was given early this year (Jan/Feb) and challenged us to take interesting photos of plants, with the ultimate goal of taking the same pictures in the spring in order to compare the change in the plants.

Diversity Assignment for Photography, and my first time doing self portraits! The purpose was to show diversity in my life. I chose to show diversity in clothing, hair, and makeup.

Night Assignment for Photography: The assignment was to take pictures at night, creatively using light in the picture. ‪

These are some pictures I took (and edited) for Part I of my Nature Assignment. Part II will be to retake images of the same plants in the spring to compare the difference.
