Shockingly Simple Paints "Where the Huskies Go"
Shockingly Simple Paints are all handmade in Alaska using latex and/or acrylic paints, limestone, mold repellent, mica powder, and elbow grease. These ingredients combined not only create beautiful colors, but are also easy to apply to almost any surface. See below for more features as well as directions and ingredients.
Little to no surface preparation required.
Thick coverage, 1-2 coats is all it usually takes!
Perfect for indoor or outdoor projects (outdoor projects must be sealed).
Adheres to wood, metal, concrete/stone, matte plastic, and more.
Mold and Mildew Resistant
Directions:
Prep surface by removing any dirt, mold, rust, etc. Sanding and priming are recommended for most surfaces but are not usually necessary.
Stir paint prior to and during application. Floetrol or other paint mediums can be mixed into Shockingly Simple Paints; however, more coats may be required.
Using a high quality brush, apply Shockingly Simple Paints like you would any other latex or acrylic paint. Rolling is not recommended.
Paints usually dry to the touch within 20 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity. Apply additional coats after paint is dry to touch. Most surfaces are safe to handle after 1 hour.
Seal surface with Shockingly Simple Paints Clear Wax, Hoarfrost Wax, or a sealant such as Polycrylic. Polycrylic is recommended for outdoor pieces or surfaces that will be used often.
Tips and Tricks:
Cleanup - Clean brushes, sponges, and any other items used immediately after use! Once Shockingly Subtle Paints dry, they are much more difficult to remove.
Clumps - Occasionally, small clumps of limestone will show up after a layer of paint has dried. Don’t fret! A clean, damp rag will usually take care of these along with touching up the area with a small amount of paint.

Shockingly Simple Paints are made from mixing latex and/or acrylic paint (usually a blend of both), sifted limestone, non-toxic mildew treatment, natural color enhancers, and paint mediums.
