Imagine your first kiss with Addison Montgomery.
You’d been pining after Addison for months. By now it was a well known fact that you had it bad for her, but if she knew she never said. It was a fairly routine day. Paperwork, stare at Addison, lunch, stare at Addison, scrub in on a surgery, well you know. As you prepared to pack your things and head home for the night you were surprised to find Addison leaning against the doorframe to the locker room.
"Look, I realize I scare people," Addison began once you’d taken notice of her. "I just didn’t think I’d have to wait forever for you to finally make a move." You stared at her blankly for a minute, almost thinking you’d fallen asleep in an on call room again and any time now you’d wake up from this dream.
"I don’t like to wait," Addison stated, bringing you back to the reality of it all. Before you had a chance to reply, Addison was moving towards you and you had very little time to prepare before you felt her lips on yours.
You felt as if the breath had been stolen from your lungs, but you’d happily die this way if that had been the case. You kissed her back desperately. The amount of times you’d dreamed of this all cumulated to this one moment, a moment you may never get again. You brought your hands to her face, wanting to hold yourself in her kiss for as long as you could.
Finally, reluctantly, she pulled away. "Have lunch with me tomorrow," Addison invited. Still a little dumbfounded from the kiss, all you could do was nod. And then she was gone. If not for your kiss swollen lips as you looked at your reflection in the mirror, you’d have sworn it was all in your head.
