I love the idea of a "dangerous" autistic character who has a comfort plushie. Like they're genuinely trained to kill people and have some experience, they're respected by the group as a leader, member, or as a friend. And they hold onto a fluffy shark teddy while they outline the plan for a serious mission and no one in the group cares. They even stop noticing it at all after a while.
The ONE TIME someone is stupid enough to say something shitty about it, the character straightens up, and tells them something like,
"I've been overstimulated since noon. This teddy is a precaution, so I don't rip your head off and feed it to your mother. Understood?"
