Niffty (Naomi) is Alastor's adopted daughter. It's a long story.

Angel is a Trans man (not interested in HRT or gender-affirming surgery, he's perfectly happy with his body -- sans his spider feet lol).

Alastor has temporal lobe epilepsy, which he inherited from his mother, who died from it when he was 15. Alastor's seizures manifest as repetitive gestures or unprompted, unbearable bursts of emotion. Overall, he has memory problems and is prone to intense moments of zoning out. He almost never convulses, but if he has a migraine or a temporal lobe seizure and doesn't remedy it or makes it worse, he's very likely to convulse in a grand-mal seizure.

Angel is completely blind in his left eye, and it has esotropia (his pupil stays fixed to the inner corner of his eye).

In Hell, if someone genuinely loves someone, that person appears to them as human. This could be from very close friendship, romantic love, or familial love. (This wasn't originally my hc but I have no idea where it came from lol)

Angel's mother was deaf, Angel is fluent in American Sign Language.

Alastor and Angel are friends... kinda. They hang out and have a surprising bond due to some mutual trauma and a shared coping mechanism of masking.

Fizzarolli is transmasc (was socialized as a girl) but is genderfluid and also tends to identify as non-binary.

had a stupid dream about a really old headcanon with alastor and asmodeus being friends. my dream was like "here's why" and it was alastor having to go to the lust ring for some reason, finding it mostly obnoxious, but then full on getting stressed out, before ozzy of all people notices a fellow demon being overwhelmed and pulls him aside and goes "dude yeah, even i can understand that sometimes." (even though ozzy is talking about being bored and underwhelmed instead). idk how that lead to them being friends but lol

alternative idea for how they became friends:

alastor has to talk to him or another ruler for some overlord reason. and on something completely unrelated to alastor, asmodeus is talking to someone else in the circle and explaining what asexual means in a completely unbiased way (alastor doesn't know he's ace yet).

and as he listens, we see a slow zoom on alastor's bored face as his eyes gradually get more invested and his smile fades because he finally finds out postmortem that there was never anything wrong with him. (cue montage of him candidly asking asmodeus more questions about it when no one else is around, and that's how they get close)
