Hi! I've looked high and low for sets from Hyde/nelphaell and cannot find anything. :( Especially looking for their "Hyde Fake Glass 3", "Streetsand Gardens" lot, "Fake + Panoramic Schuco Windows". Such lovely CC, but Simfile share search, wayback, or anything else doesn't give any solution. :( If anyone has the flies, I would be so grateful. It's so frustrating, because some of their links DO work, just not the ones I need, lol.

Hello anon! Three sets from nelphaell has been found on packrat (if you haven't seen them already that is)

Friendly reminder to please include links to said downloads! it makes it so much easier for me, nelphaell's tags are messy and they did not include the title's name in words (only on the images) so I spent way too long looking for these sets heh 🤡

I can't seem to find any Fake Glass 3 from nelphaell, but I did find Hyde Fake Glass 2 with a working drive dl-link. I re-uploaded it to my sfs folder here as well.

Hyde Fake Glass (#1?) is missing though, original filename: Hyde Fake Glass Panel.zip

Streetsand Gardens lot and Fake + Panoramic Schuco Windows I sadly I couldn't find re-uploaded anywhere :-/

Lottie-sims + sims2defaults database updates

• The tumblr blog of @lottie-sims doesn't exist anymore, not sure how long it's been. They were a prolific CAS defaults creator but inactive for years I believe. If you still have defaults made by lottie-sims, it would be amazing if you could send them my way so I can reupload them to the SFS of the sims2defaults database and update the broken links.

• As you've probably heard, GOS was dead for a few weeks, and now it's back upgraded to a newer format (see technical info here). This upgrade has one consequence for the sims2defaults database: none of the links to GOS are properly dead but the digitalperversion.net links don't get automatically redirected anymore, so the older defaults that were posted on GOS are a bit trickier to access. @latmosims made a helpful redirecting browser extension for Chrome and Firefox which I would recommend. However I don't expect everyone to use it so I'll be updating all the digitalperversion.net links.

• I'm still not done replacing the imgur pictures on the hair pages, sorry it's taking forever. I had to take a break that ended up lasting many weeks but I'm back on it now. The new Dreamwidth-hosted pictures appear to take longer to load, when they load at all. Sorry about that, it sucks but we don't have a better solution to the UK imgur ban right now. I recently switched to DuckDuckGo as my main browser and I find that the database loads faster and more reliably than with Firefox or Chrome, you may want to try and see.

Sims 2 Traits - Self Interactions! I found a disabled animation!

Since I'm obsessed with socials now (and I watch @teaaddictyt streams and VODS where she gives me ideas...) here are some mods that affect Neurotic, Dramatic and Insane Sims! These are fun little self-interactions for storytelling or other purposes... I originally inserted these into the PersonGlobals TTAB. But as some of you may know, this causes a great deal of issues because it conflicts with other important mods.

So, I split them up into three separate controllers, so they don't conflict with anything! they all have unique GUIDS. These are non-autonomous and require Easy Inventory Check and the base traits mod by Hexagonal Bipyramid.

Interactions

Neurotic Sims can now "Freak Out" if their Comfort is low. They will cry, worry, or throw a tantrum and their comfort will increase. Paired great with my "Motive Decay" for traits, because Neurotics have greater Comfort decay!

Dramatic Sims can now "Fake Pass Out" like the Sims 3. Sims will react to your Sim, and their reactions depend on personality and traits (Evil Sims may enjoy it...). They can only do it if their Social is fairly low and it gives them Fun and Social.

Insane Sims (and this is my favorite) can now scream psychotically and everyone around them will react. I found a disabled/cut interaction called "Primal Scream" in the code so I just HAD to enable it for Insane Sims. There's an animation for this and everything!

Ok it doesn't show you the Anim, but trust me, it's great! And they actually scream! Like audibly!

Enjoy! Looking at this mod will also help you understand self-interactions if you're into modding!

I also have one for the Clumsy trait where they do the roller-skate fall animation randomly, but I can't get it to work autonomously in a controller. It stays in my PersonGlobals unfortunately.

graphics design is my ~passion~, clearly doing something different? well, honestly, I saw this lovely eyeshadow randomly and was like, oh, that's really cute! I'd love that for Elsie! unfortunately it is in fact called Carnival CRAZE and I am an idiot. OH WELL. :') so I poked at it in the Tattooer (thank youuu paluding) and made my first custom makeup and ... I think it looks cute? (particularly on darker skin, which was what I wanted to begin with :P)

CC-Free Collection for Download: MiniMod Pop

Minimalist + Modern + Pop; Although the most accurate name probably would've just been "Mirror's Edge," but I wanted to at least try to describe the design elements I was emulating lol

By "Mirror's Edge" I mean white/neutral walls & floors, with everything else in a matching accent color (mostly red). Sleek, simple forms, geometric and/or abstract shapes.

A lot of it is just the IKEA stuff, or just the Kitchen & Bath Stuff, or whatever, but I make these CC-free collections not for finding things as if they're hard to find, I make them as it helps me get in a "mood" to imagine decorating within a specific theme I may not have considered attempting otherwise.

Same as all my other CC-free collections, items are ordered the same way as the catalog, and there’s items included that are only usable with the buyable craftables & buyable reward object mods.
