Sartoria Castanagia does not get a lot of attention in the #menswear blogosphere.  They are one of, if not the oldest tailoring house in Italy still in operation.

Sample arrived today from Italy.  A couple tweaks and we are ready for production.

Hierbas de Ibiza today, picked this up while in Ibiza this summer. Every time I put it on it brings back memories, it will always have a place in my rotation for this reason. It’s a scent that is not for everyone, it’s opening is dominated by citrus which can seem a bit simple for some.

Uetam pennies today, fall is starting to arrive here in AZ so this may be their last outing. After one season of wear only a slight amount of creasing, Uetam is the perfect loafer last for me.

A little break from the usual #menswear stuff for a great shot of a home by prominent local midcentury architect Al Beadle.  I have been inside many of his projects but this one is a real gem, the owners kept the exterior true to his original work but gave the interior an ultra modern makeover.

I have a pair of these, the fit is incredible. Most loafers are hell on your toes, these have a narrow waist which helps hold your foot in place.

My wife and I looked at a house today built in the 1950’s that was all original. Funny to think pencils were so essential at the time as to warrant having a sharpener mounted in the kitchen. How times have changed...
