Sometimes when you jump head first into something it can be really scary, but the choice is yours to sink or swim. That's how I felt 2 months ago when I left my full time job of 4.5 years, and made the decision to invest myself fully in my small business'. But now things are starting to make sense. By focusing on achieving small things one by one, instead of feeling overwhelmed by all the obstacles I faced, I've been able to inch myself closer to my dream. ENRAPTURE started as a hobby, and has now grown into something so much more. I've put so much into making this business happen despite the huge number of competitors with deep pockets. I'm 100% self supported, and a one woman show (with some occasional help from my goddess of a sister @simonegenevieve) and it's felt really overwhelming at times. But I can see the light, and in just a few months my first fully runway ready collection will be revealed. I've put my heart and soul into it, it's an extension of myself and everything I stand for. I'm working with some of the best artisans in the world to make my new statement collection, and it's 100% ethically produced in the place it all began for me - Indonesia. This place is magical and has inspired so much in me. I will never work for a boss again but I have learnt that feeding the soul is so much more fulfilling than feeding my bank account.
