Frida Gustavsson for H&M Summer 2012 Collection

"Sporty Summer – Frida Gustavsson models the summer 2012 collection from fast fashion retailer, H&M. "Photographed byAndreas Sjodin, Frida wears a mix of sportswear and elegant silhouettes for the new season. Color blocking and stripes bring a modern touch to the classic influences."

This gorgeous fashion shoot for H&M highlights the upcoming summer 2012 european fashion, which will heavily reflect in Australia's late Spring and Winter collections. We see a return of the hour-glass dress, and figure tight pencil skirts. The brights have been dimmed to solid mouves and dark blues and combined with the prominent trend of pastels for a very salacious and sporty look. A return of the metallic's in immanent, a natural progression from the sequin and shine look of 2011. In line with the hourglass shape is high waisted, well everything.

This image is strikingly gorgeous. The dress reminds we of a aquamarine mermaid, with plastic detailing which is filled with green liquid.

Spring 2012 is headed for fit-to-flare dresses and big floral patterns. 

The hourglass figure is definately all the rage on international catwalks at the moment as they show off their Spring 2012 collections. The best part is that it is an extremely flattering look for most shapes. 

For those with a larger bust wear lower cut dresses such a v-necks or round neck. If you have a stomach to hide go for a low cut dress too, however look for one which remains fitted until around the waist line, and then has a flowing skirt. Avoid really structured dresses which have pleats. 

We are so excited by this trend!!
