Brother’s best friend
K is the best friend of your brother. He is the type of guy you do not really care about, three years older, has clearly dubious social choices and globally not interesting.
Yudai also do not really care because you are just the little sister of his best friend, the girl walking around with a facemask on her face and eating Nutella with a spoon straight out of the pot.
Everything changes when he sees you for the first time in a year, you’re not the silly teenager anymore, but a studious college student. More mature, calm, clever but still reckless.
He is the one that falls first after picking you up from a party, he swears it is just because you are the little sister of his best friend but at the bottom of his heart, he knows its more than that.
After that he starts noticing you, asking about you, caring for you.. Deeply he knows nothing can happen, after all you are the little sister of his best friend.
But yet, the way your eyes look at him changes, the atmosphere is changing whenever you are in the same room, during movie night your fingers sometimes brush against one another.. Can love truly be build in silence and in secret of someone precious to the both of you ?
Rivals to lovers
Prince!Yudai is someone that grew up in a deeply shouldered environment, being taught that as the prince and future king he has the right to do whatever he wants. He is unstoppable, proud and cocky.
So the day a knight beat him in a duel, he naturally starts to grow weary of him. Then he notices him wherever he goes. He is strong, a great archer, amazing at sword fighting. He was also clever and kind to everyone.
He despised that knight. And the knight, you, also despised him.
As a young girl, you were born in a noble family, and when your older brother passed away at 9 from the fever, your parents ordered you to replace him to keep the family standing. Officially, you had died, and he lived.
You had been brought up to hide, be discreet but still represent your family. Be strong.
So, when at 22 years old you had to go the palace, become a knight and met the prick of a prince you could not help but hate him. He was nothing but an arrogant idiot who thought he was better than everyone else.
The two of you started a rivalry, fighting whenever you could, dueling whenever. The most random things became the reason, the pretense for fighting.
Everything changed when one day, on your period you fainted during training. That day Yudai realised that maybe he cared a bit for you.
Following that event everything changed, he noticed more, cared more.
You still hated him though.
One day, he was going to see you in your room, officially to get back one of his poetry books. But that day, he saw you, not the male you, but the female you.
And perhaps, that’s when he realised that maybe you were not that bad. Following that day, he progressively became a huge puppy following you around and falling for you deeper and deeper.

Koga Yudai
Unlike popular opinion K would be into a goofball. You could think that he would be drawn to a mature, kept together woman. But I feel like he would love someone that allows him to show his playful side.
In his job he has to have the role and responsibility of the oldest, someone that you can rely on, so I feel like he would love someone that lets him be free. Be goofy.
She would also be someone that loves her job, K strikes me as a kind of a workaholic and so for him it would be especially important that the person loves their job. Or at least, are serious about it and understand the struggles of a job with responsibilities.
It would be especially important for him to have those moments of recharging his battery by cuddling up with her so it would be a partner that loves physical touch.
However style wise he would like the appearance of someone elegant, I imagine someone with long hair, heels, a mature type of fashion style.
I feel like the type of person he likes is the most complex : goofy, but responsibilities in work and elegant in a public context.
Murata Fuma
Hot take : Fuma would be into someone that he can rely on, rather than someone that rely on him.
Of course, he is reliable and trust worthy but I feel like he went through so much in his life that he would like someone that holds his hands and tell him he is doing great. He would be into someone that is supportive and kind-hearted. A person that is introverted and sweet to him.
He would also really be into someone that cares for his members and try to share in a way his responsibilities as vice-leader. Trying to shoulder him more than anything, and be someone that is trustworthy.
Also have that feeling that he would like an older partner ? Ether someone that is like 2-3 years older than him ? Or someone his age or just a bit younger of like 3 years.
Physically / origin wise I feel that he would be into that traditional Japanese type of beauty with someone with dark hair. I think he could totally be into dating a foreigner, but someone that has a natural charm. The kind of girl that lights up a room when she comes in you know.
I also feels that he would likes someone that works out or enjoy physical activities, maybe a runner ?
Wang Xiyiang
I feel that Nicholas would be into someone that is his exact opposite.
Someone that looks very cute on the outside but has a very strong personality. I feel like the person would be someone that is strong. And he would be out of all the members the one that values the most someone that is clever. He would be into someone that is like him and speaks two or multiple language. He also would be attracted to someone that has a real passion and force driving them.
I don’t really see him with someone younger, someone that is his age or a couple years older.
I also feel that he would not mind if the person was not really outgoing and more on the introvert side. I feel that he likes to be someone that his partner can rely on, and he would like to accompany and holds a special place for his partner.
Physically wise, it would be someone with a cute/casual elegant style, im thinking lace, denims, natural fibers.
So them standing next to each other would be pretty funny because he would be like dark clothes but sweet personality and his partner would be soft style but ready to fight anyone.
On the physical side he would not care the least. Also feels that he would definitely end up with a foreigner (someone not Japanese/Korean)
Byun Euijoo
Now Euijoo is into someone extroverted. He needs someone that brings him out of his shell and cheer him on.
He would also needs someone that is available often to talk and be present in his life. I feel that he would not like to be too independent in his relationship and would rather likes that kind of bond where they text all the time. Not even for important discussion, but just for someone that is around.
Age wise I can see Euijoo with a younger partner or someone his age, that is really energetic.
Style wise I’m thinking more of someone that has that girl next door aesthetic. Glasses, hair mid-long.
Physically wise I imagine him with a Korean/Asian woman, I don’t really envision him with a poc or European person. I think he has a kind of traditional point of view on that aspect and would not obviously be drawn to that but would perhaps be open-minded.
I also envision someone that loves to vlog her life, takes pictures, goes out with friends, the kind of person that is taking a walk in town always somehow meets someone that she knows.
Nakakita Yuma
Cute girl. Pilates girl. Soft girl.
You can’t convince me that this man would not love a partner that is the literal definition of matcha clean girl pink nails (and there is nothing with wrong that btw).
He would like his partner to have this elegance, to carry herself and be kind and patient. Truly someone that radiates that aura of calmness.
I also believe that he would be more drawn to someone that is introverted and that slowly warms up to him. Someone soft spoken and tender.
She would be someone that is into journalling ; knowing yourself and be comfortable with yourself. Someone that has a degree of independence is definitely a most.
Asakura Jo
He is into older girls I can tell you that for sure.
He wants a partner that can take the lead, is strong headed and brave. Im not talking someone that would start a fight in a bar, but rather someone that has strong principles and is not afraid to voice their opinions.
It would be someone that is short but as that strong temper. Which is funny to look at because you see this super tall guy getting walked around by that small girl.
Style wise I think she would be the most casual one ? Denim jeans, leather jacket. Simple but practical style on the day to day.
Someone that has dyed hair, or naturally blonde hair would be something that he likes.
Hobby wise I think he would be into someone that has a quiet hobby, like reading, building legos or puzzles ? He would likes an activity they can share or would be into parallel playing (being in the same room but not doing the same activity).
Shigeta Harua
Hot take : He wants a baddie tatted up girlfriend.
Im not talking one tattoo on the rib, one on the wrist, I’m talking arms sleeve, back tattoo girl, tattoo on the neck.
Harua has this very sweet, cute image and I feel like he would be into someone that is the complete opposite of him. Someone outgoing, spontaneous, brave, maybe even someone that loves extreme sports.
I feel like he would be driven by a partner that challenges him but also has an impressive aura.
Age wise I don’t really think he would mind anything, he definitely would not be stopped by age criteria and follow his heart and instinct more than anything else.
Physically wise im getting a vibe that he would like someone taller. Someone truly a baddie, you know the kind of woman you see on the street and think that she is so cool and looks amazing.
Takayama Riki
I feel like Taki would be drawn to someone that is younger than him, or someone that feels younger. I feel that for him having the opportunity and the space to show care and protectiveness towards his partner is very important.
He wants to show himself as that reliable older boyfriend.
Taki would definitely be with someone shorter than him, or his exact height. Also getting the feeling that he would like a partner that is playful and adventurous.
Physically it would be someone with a japandi style. It would allow his partner to be comfortable, have an elegant touch but also leave enough freedom of movement for playing around. Someone that has short hair as well.
Hobby wise it would definitely be someone sporty that likes football or volleyball. Something that asks for a lot of stamina.
Riki Wilhelm Mauß
Maki would definitely be the type to date a foreigner (by a foreigner I mean someone not Korean/Japanese).
He would definitely likes someone that can handle his energy and so someone that is as high-spirited as him.
He also would go greatly along with someone that his type of humor, that is chronically online like him. I feel that he would enjoy sharing moments just watching videos together and filming lots of vlogs and funny challenges. Not even to post them but just for fun.
Physically wise I don’t think he cares about anything. He would definitely like someone smaller but if it was someone taller he would not mind it.
Hobby wise it would someone that loves to walk in the forest, on the beach. Someone that enjoy the scenery, that loves to go on holiday in mountains, and takes pictures of the scenery. Someone that keeps a little notebook with dried flowers, that has polaroids of the people she loves in her room.
If we push it I think Maki could like someone that is a nerd to a certain extent. Especially an history nerd ?
QianQian is in danger, and somehow they all meet up with Changyu, Xie Zheng and Xie Wu. They meet. Bonding time. He saves her.
After the war for the throne, Xie Wu is with Xie Zheng and Changyu in Lin'an.
He is now the official right hand of Xie Zheng and most importantly nanny to Changning. They often go in the capital because Bao'er is on the throne, and Changning and him are still friends.
QianQian and Xie Wu fall in love as they spend time together. He is reliable, mentally (and physically) healthy, loves kids..
Xie Zheng is coaching him, Changyu is coaching her.
They end up marrying, having a little girl together. And they live their little lifes away from the horrors of war.
