Free Food
Tonight at work: -A coworker randomly gave me green peppers & tomatoes from his garden. -A customer (from a local business) gave us a free pizza. -I claimed the last of the (trash bound) donuts a manager bought the staff. Tonight at home: -I made a tasty, cold pasta w/ veggies (for lunch tomorrow). -Added green peppers & red onions to the pizza and heated it up for dinner. -Had donuts for dessert.
There's Always One
AT THE DJ BOOTH
Girl: "Hey. What kind of stuff do you have?"
Me: "We have a lot of stuff. Is there something particular that you want to hear?
Girl: "Well, what all do you have?"
Me: "There are three of us DJing. I have no idea what everyone has."
Girl: *stares blankly*
Me: "Write down what you want to hear and if I don't have it, one of them might"
Girl: "Do you play dubsteb?"
Me: "Depends on the mood of the DJ at the time. It's not really what we do."
Girl: "Well, what DO you have?"
Me: "Like I said" *laugh* "There are three of us. I only know what I have."
Girl: "Can you play [song] by [artist]?"
Me: "We just did a few minutes ago..."
Girl: "How about [artist]?"
Me: "Any particular track?"
Girl: "[song] or [song]"
Me: "Okay. I can do that."
Girl: "What about [artist/song]?"
Me: "I don't have that one..."
Girl: *huffs*
Me: "...but one of the other two might."
Girl: [insert random complaints/mumbling]
Me: "Just write it down... Otherwise, our drunk asses won't remember"
Girl: *laughs and leaves without writing anything down"
ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER
Girl: "I want to hear [song]. Can you play that?"
Me: "I don't even know what that is..."
Girl: [Mumbling] "I just ... to... you would... any of... five songs..."
Me: "I'm sorry. What was that?"
Girl: [Mumbling] "I just wanted to see if you would play any of my five songs."
Me: "I already plan on playing your request for [artist/song]"
Girl: "Can you play it now?"
Me: "No, I'm not spinning right now. My next set starts in a few minutes."
Girl: "Can he play it?"
Me: "He's wrapping up his set... and already said that he doesn't have it."
Girl: "But we're getting ready to leave!"
Me: "Oh? That sucks. I guess I don't have to play it then."
Divided.
I haven't been able to keep myself focused on anything lately. My mind is divided between several different projects and I'm finding it harder and harder to have any real "productive" time. Tonight will be no different. I'm not going to work on anything (even though, I have a ton of stuff that I SHOULD be doing). --- Most of the TV shows that I have been watching have either hit their season finale from a summer run or are in a mid season break. Of course, the fall season hasn't even started, yet. I TRIED to catch up on Nikita. Unfortunately, I just wasn't feeling it. So, I went back to another show I lost track of years ago, Alias. I knew that I had seen the finale of Season 3, but decided to watch it again to refresh my memory of where the show was at when I stopped watching (oh so many years ago). Oddly enough, bits and pieces of the episode triggered memories, but overall, I might as well have been seeing it for the first time. The final scene, however, was exactly how I remembered. Now, I'm going to see how Season 4 starts off. Perhaps, it will be the mindless entertainment I seek before calling it a night, crawling into bed and getting (at the very least) a little bit of rest before I jump back into my insane list of projects and 1001 things to do.
Alphas
I was starting to worry about this season of Alphas. Tonight's episode seemed to finally put things back on track. We'll see how next week goes... Also, "Hey, Tumblr! Long time no see..."
Drinking

Remember all those projects
that I mentioned? Well, things have been hectic as of late. Those projects are totally kicking my ass right now. Want more? Apparently, I do! I have two more things in the works that should launch soon. Hopefully, after this week, things will start to settle down, I can reveal some of these projects and actually get in some quality Tumblr Time.
And On That Note,
I'm calling it a night. It's going to be an interesting weekend for me. I actually have a few different projects in the works. Combine those with my full time job and things have been pretty hectic as of late. This weekend is looking to be no different. Still hoping to sit down this week and get my Tumblr page reconnected. Only, time will tell. Until then, Goodnight!

Kiwi! [2006] by Dony Permedi I had forgotten about this animated short until I accidentally came across it again tonight. I thought, I should post it here for those who may have never seen it. Sometimes, I feel like everything I do is leading up to a similar ending.
Daylight
Looks like the sun is about to come up (and even worse, the sound of birds!) and that means another long weekend is finally over. Sadly, I didn't accomplish any of the important things that I needed to do, but I did succeed in getting a few minor things done. Here's to this week turning out a lot better than the last.
Hectic Gorilla Bats.
Okay. No Gorilla Bats around the house, but things are pretty hectic. The next few weekends are going to be insane. If other pending projects suddenly come to fruition, shit's going to get a lot worse. With any luck, I'll find time to sit down with Tumblr this week and get reconnected. Where does all of my free time actually go?!

TUB[NSFW] It was a very strange weekend. I'm still trying to process everything that happened. Luckily, things didn't get quite as bizarre as they do the short film, Tub. Although, it was pretty damn close. I'll post more once the world stops spinning so fast, things settle down and I've had more time to deal with the aftermath.
