having you so close yet so far was the most annoying thing for niki.

all he wanted to do is shove that boyfriend he won’t even call yours to the wall and beat the shit out of him so he could have you

as much as it sounds obsessive he was head over heels for you.

everyday he came over to hang out with your brother Jay, well, that’s how it was before he got a crush on you.

Now? he comes over so he can see you too, but when he sees that your boyfriend is there too, he almost bursts.

“yo niki can you please please please go upstairs and tell my stupid ass sister to come down for boyfriend? he said he’ll be here any minute and ion wanna open it rn im busy” Jay begged as his eyes stayed focused on the screen of the game he was playing

“yeah sure whatever…” niki murmured his mood falling as soon as he heard your boyfriend was coming over.

it’s like he was literally enemies with him and your boyfriend jake didn’t even know that.

he was beefing with him quietly but only one of them knew it.

he walked in the hallway before stopping in front of your door, ready to knock.

knock knock,

“ya, muffin?” he had this little nickname for you

“come innn!” you said with a smile on your face

and god that smile always made his knees buckle.

there was a short silence before he actually remembered what he had to tell you

“oh right…your boyfriend is coming over so Jay asked you to come down and open it for…him…”

he barely said it — fuck that idiot, leave him and come to me please.

but he couldn’t.

he could only yearn in silence.

and god it hurt and made him go crazy

“oooooh!jakeyyy!okayyy!thanks for telling me kiiii!”

you hug him shortly before running down the stairs to open the door for Jake

and when niki felt your hands around him he almost fainted

a stupid grin on his face as he stood like a teenager in a goofy position

god you really were making him go crazy

but the moment he turned his head down the stairs he saw you kiss Jake

he almost puked, and ran towards you to stop you but he had to hold himself back.

he looked away and went downstairs to Jay his face looking disappointed and of course Jay noticed

“what’s up with you bro?” he looked up at him finally looking away from the screen.

“nothing, just tired..” niki replied sitting down with a loud sigh for you to hear

Jake said hi to him and Jay before you two left upstairs.

“don’t do any shit!” Jay yelled at you

you just rolled your eyes holding Jakes hand .

few hours later you snuggled against him and fell asleep.

Niki was about to say goodbye and when he peeked inside he saw you and Jake asleep together.

“fucking hell…” he whispered before giving up and

leaving.

on his way back home he couldn’t stop thinking about how you looked with Jake

he wished it was him instead of Jake, dragging a hand over his face he groaned to himself

the next day he came over and when he saw you his knees buckled and his jaw almost dropped

you stood there in a crop top and a cardigan over it, a small skirt hanging on your hips along with high knee socks and cute slippers that’s match your skirt.

he couldn’t help but stare at how cute you looked and small that he wanted to devour you completely

Jay snapped him out of his thoughts by a tap on his shoulder,

“yo dude, stop staring at my sister…?” he smirked at niki making niki swallow hard.

you turned around and saw them both, the height difference was big.

as he was a year older than you, he was also for an almost whole foot taller than you.

“oh hey ki!” you smile waving before walking over to him to hug him

his arms wrap around you, so gently and tightly like if he lets go you’ll disappear, which you might since you’re not his and he doesn’t get this often..

“is Jake coming over today again?” Jay asked looking at you

“probably not, he said he’s busy. I don’t know with what tho.” you pout a bit but you mark it with a smile,

niki of course noticed

later you said you were going out with Jake.

niki and Jay stayed to play games but not long after they both heard you running in in tears and sobs.

both heads turned toward the door and saw you crying

Jay and niki stood up and Jay hugged you asking you what happened

“J-jake b-broke up with me!” sob “h-h-he cheated…—“ you got cut off by Jay who muffled it by shoving your head gently into his chest as your hands clinged around him.

niki could only watch—but somehow he was sad for you—tho that was also excitement that maybe he will now finally have a chance with you

later you fell asleep on the couch—next to niki while Jay sat on the floor locked in for the game.

your head slowly fell on niki’s shoulders, he gasped quietly eyes widening as he looked down at you.

he felt like his heart was gonna burst out of his chest.

he put his hand around your shoulders pulling you closer to him—a smirk on his face as he watched your peaceful face.

your lips looked so soft, in a soft pout—hair a bit messy and your cardigan now slipped down your shoulders pulling, the first button unbuttoned leaving in opened a bit

around midnight Jay fell asleep on the floor and you also stayed asleep still on his shoulder.

he stood up gently and slowly lifting you up bridal style to put you in your bed

as he put you down gently on it, pulling the covers over you. Your hand gripped his sleeve, he froze, eyes widening as he saw your sleepy eyes open…

he wanted to kiss you so so so so bad

“k-ki…stay…” you murmured sleepily barely awake and barely gripping his sleeve…

“mm…?” he sat down on the edge of your bed

he watched you as your sleepy eyes stared back at him, he couldn’t stop himself but smile softly at you

“god…you’re driving me crazy…” his hand cupped your puffy cheek

he leaned down…

his face inches from yours,

heartbeat fast,

face flushed a bit,

when suddenly—

“Niki….where are you…did you go home…”

Jay..

he pulled away quickly and stood up while you let out a small whine at the disappearance of his warmth next to you

he kissed your forehead and left your room and when he saw Jay he told him he’s gonna stay the night

Jay just nodded and went to his room

Niki slept on the couch

he didn’t mind because he was close to you.

in the morning he got awaken by soft rumbling in the kitchen

he stood up, sleepy eyes, plump lips, hair sticking out in multiple directions

shirtless.

in some short joggers.

he came in the kitchen and he saw you

you looked so small, in a simple shirt and shorts along with some fluffy socks

hair messy and bare faced

you turned around and froze when you saw him—it was the first time you saw him sleep shirtless

your whole face went red

he bit back a smirk as he walked nonchalantly towards the coffee maker

“morning muffin, how’d you sleep?” he asked as he smirked to himself while pouring some coffee into his cup

“um…i-i slept good…i guess..” you mumble stuttering still

“are you feeling any better…from yesterday?” he looked at you

you avoided his gaze, looking down at your poorly made breakfast before shaking your head as “no”

he walked over to you and pulled you into a hug

and you couldn’t hold it in anymore before a quiet son and sniffle was heard

burton your face into his chest made him wanna groan but seeing you sad like this did affect him

he hugged you tighter and Jay walked in before he realized what’s happening

Jay stared at niki and niki stared at him, confused

Not only then did Jay realize how good you and Niki looked together

it made Jay smirk before saying:

“don’t cry over an idiot shorty, it’s gonna be okay, we’ll go out today to take your mind off of him mkay?” he said in a serious tone before pouring some juice into a glass

when you pulled away, your lips were pulled into a pout

you hadn’t looked at Niki after, but at Jay as you started to shot something back

“shut up…easy for you to say…” you mumble

but Niki?

his gaze, fixed on you, eyes dark with lust and desperation to make you his..

he stared at those puffy lips formed into a pout

for him looking away was a curse because you looked so beautiful right now

—He got startled by Jays hand on his shoulder and that’s when he finally looked away

“h-huh??” niki said confused as he looked at Jay who was smirking

“go get ready we’re going out you idiot!” jay says before going upstairs—you were already going upstairs too

at the mall Jay spoiled you with stuff,

Niki watched as you bounced happily while both of the held bags of yours

It was crowded so when i bumped into some guy Niki only gave that guy a death glare before he took your hand and dragged you gently away from the guy

he was being protective quietly

Few days pass in a blink—you got closer with Niki more

Hanging out with him now alone sometimes,

going out and having fun together

today you, Niki and Jay went to Sunghoons party and Jay drank a lot, including his other friends

tho Niki stayed with Jay he kept an eye on you—

you were with your friends laughing and also drinking a bit but not too much because you don’t handle alcohol very good

you had one cup and you were gone

some guy approached you and sat down with you,

since the alcohol took you over you didn’t quite know what you were doing and you found yourself leaning onto him

Niki almost bursted again.

his eyes were dark and he glared at the guy across the room that held you while talking to you

Niki couldn’t take it anymore, he walked over in a few strides and pushed the guy from you before lifting you up bridal style

your head fell on his shoulder as you babble some random words slurred from the alcohol

“mmh…niniiii…..ki….mm….i….hmm….” you babble

niki chuckles before he drove you home

at home you were all over him

hugging him, grilling his shirt, pants arms everything, like if you pulled away he’ll disappear

that made him flustered because he didn’t want to take advantage of you while drunk

you looked up at him with those dazed eyes, he looked back down at you

you squished your cheek against his chest—legs losing balance, and giving out

his arms wrapped around your waist to steady you

he was so close to you he thought he was gonna lose his mind

“niki…i love you..” you mumble quietly into his chest

“w-what?” he froze lifting your chin upwards to look at you

“i…like you…” you murmur

he chuckles, a fact he knew for sure from what Jay told him is that when you’re drunk you’re extremely honest

there no way back in this now

you’re not lying

he knows that

“want a kiss?” he asks innocently

you nod and that’s all it takes for him to finally give in after years of yearning quietly for you

his lips pressed against yours gently, tongue sliding in your mouth as you let out a small whimper arms tightening on his hoodie you gripped against his chest

his hands cupped your neck from behind having you right where he wants as he finally chases after what he always wanted

he lifted you up and sat down on the couch with you in his lap,

you were now finally his only

and he for sure

wasn’t letting you go

cuz all of that time was wasted with a stupid guy you were with
