catching the last waves of the day, sunsets at sea.
The ‘king’ cormorant, a symbol of freedom in my eyes.. a creature who can both navigate under the sea and weave freely through the air.
This year has certainly been challenging.
Admittedly it has also been full of growth.
The world was moving so quickly that only a pandemic could have had the abrupt strength to stop us in our tracks. We’ve been forced out of our routines and have had to re-adapt. Not only as individuals, but as a group too.
Everything we are faced with is a lesson. It is up to us to decide how we will let these moments affect our lives. Together we are stronger.

This photo is so special to me.
It embodies a whole timeline of emotions. This woman waiting, watching the clouds. Sitting in the fog, yet finding clarity. Alone with her thoughts.
I can still close my eyes and feel the dampness of this day, the humidity of the clouds that surrounded us. The salt in my winter coat. Serenity. Calm. Silence.

there is something reassuring within the infinite pattern of the sea.

In a digital world, shooting with a film camera challenges your mind and the choices you make.
You find yourself paying attention to every detail and shadow, waiting for that single shot thats worth pressing the shutter for.
Each frame contains its own precious world, 36 windows of opportunity. All of them holding their own significant story.
