Whst no your oc is better than mine
{ No,no,no,no,no, you are incorrect. Cora is 110% better than Blanc, in fact if it wasn't for your muse, mine would not even exist! I hadn't even though of making an OC before until you and her came along. You're a real inspiration, and I hope one day I can sincerely be as good as you two, as both a writer and as an OC. <3)
Can't Spell Fun Without 'You' ! || Blake
Blake was hesitant for sure but she couldn’t help but notice how Yang had Ember Celica on her. Then again those were bracelets when deactivated and not an obvious sword and sheath. Amber eyes stared at the weapon before she stood up. “Just in case. But I should change.” Going to the closer, Blake pulled out the pieces for her outfit that was quite different from her norm. It was called ‘Intruder’.
Once change later and she was ready. Though she kind of lacked a bow to hide her ears. They wiggled a bit and turned to her closet again and pulled a familiar black ribbon out. She was silent as she tied into the perfect black bow that she known for wearing.
Turning back to Yang she was dressed and ready. Taking Gambol Shroud, she hesitantly placed it on her back. In her subconscious she didn’t want to bring her weapon for a a day of fun. Then again, Yang was right…you could never be too careful.
"I guess I’m ready."
Look at her, getting all dressed up for the occasion... it was adorable, and so much so, that Yang immediately began to regret her lack of spiffy attire as she simply sat there, admiring the other dress herself piece by piece. All she had were her signature clothes- while incredibly fashionable mind you, wasn't uniquely special in any sort of way. It was about the point of Blake examining her own ears that the blonde even began to feel out of place.Maybe... just maybe she should change..?
If she did, she better get a move on- Blake was just about done.
While one side of the room was a slow and gentle process, the other mimicked something out a cartoon. Clothing, makeup, and all sorts of things flew left and right, but even so, the blonde managed to pull together the matching outfit in no time- 'Hunter' was the name, and having fun was her game- for at least today. Once again assuming the role of patient partner, she sat causally as if nothing happened. Hard to hide the clothing swap though~
"Looking good Blake, love the taste in clothes! But common' strap that guy on your back and let's get going! Here on out, the Yang Party Train has no breaks!, LET'S, GO~!"
Eager to get things going, huntress took her partner by the hand and led her from the classroom halls to the landing bay. Surely Blake could have traveled on her own, but Yang just really wanted to take charge this time. Her plan had finally been set into motion.
She was nothing but excited.
In a few moments time, the two arrived before the kingdom of fun an games- better known to everyone else but Yang as Dusty's Arcade. Popular due to the fact that all the machine's ran on dust (hence it's name), surely they were in for a good time. Only the latest and greatest machines used this. Weiss probably mentioned it once or twice to boot too!
But that wasn't important now. They had managed to decide how they were spending their day- Now they had to decide what to play. Fighters and Shooters littered the hall, but not as much as all the two player table top games and the ever notorious skii-ball. What would Blake go for first she could only wonder, granted something had managed to catch her eye.
"See anything you like? I'll let you have first pick, since I dragged you all the way out here."

Name: Blanc Schwan (French for White, German for Swan)
Age: 18
Height: 5'0" | Weight: 101 lbs
Affiliation: Neutral
Occupation: Princess (former)
Classification: Swan Faunus
Sembelance: Semblance Enhancer
Aura Color: White
Strength of Aura: Weak
Weapon: Shield
Weapon Name: Cygnus Sonata
Fairy Tale Based Upon: "The Wild Swans"- a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a princess who rescues her eleven brothers from a spell cast by an evil queen.
Brief "Plot" History Lore : In a faraway kingdom where peace ruled over a neutral nation of swan faunus, there lives a widowed King with his twelve children: eleven princes and one princess. One day, he decides to remarry, but as luck would have it, he marries a wicked queen who was a witch, whom's hidden affiliation with the white fang desires to put the city to ruin and take the land for their own use against the despicable humans that oppose them. To move her plan forward and perhaps too out of spite to the children that were not of her blood , the queen turns her eleven stepsons into the authorities, calming they were White Fang extremists, who sought out to kill her. The brothers protested to the king, for their father would know the truth, but it was too late, for he too was blind by her performance. As such they were jailed, and the kingdom slowly began to sink into darkness.
However, there was but one light left amidst the chaos. There was the youngest of the siblings, the princess known as Blanc.
The queen realizing that the princess was the last thing standing between her and her ambitions tries to frame Blanc for a similar crime patented ideas of 'revenge' for her brothers, but none would believe her, for the princess's goodness was too strong for this. Even the king who was blind to his son's plight could not see his daughter as a criminal so vile. Realizing that no man would have her jailed, she instead decided to kill the girl herself, but the brothers from jail heard word of the dastardly plot from behind their cells. Using what connections they had left they had Blanc snuck out of the country to safety in a foreign land where she is out of harm's way of her stepmother.
This land was known as Vale.
About Blanc: A girl with a brilliant smile, Blanc, on the surface, seems like nothing but a cheerful, caring, and passionate person. This is true to an extent, but underneath the mask she bears every day, the princess is desperately concerned for the future of her people, her brothers, and her own father. Her bright future robbed from beneath her, she now dedicates her life to finding a way to stop the witch that plagues the land she calls home.
Raised a pacifist, Blanc was taught to value peace and neutrality over all else. As such, she does not understand proper concepts of battle or war, but still tries to this day, as she's come to realize if she does not fight, she will die. Reality is a beast whom will swallow you whole if you do not learn to fend for yourself. It it through her upbringing however that her personality and outlook on life has never really hardened or even become cynical for that matter. Naive to an extent, she believes there is always a better way to do things other than fight. To her, words are sharper than any blade.
About Being a Faunus: Blanc is a Swan Faunus, but you wouldn't be able to tell at first glance- her wings are small and compact, hidden from sight by her clothing. Due to the Kingdom's choice to isolate themselves from the rest of the world, many a generation grew up without the need to train their wings, but rather to walk from place to place instead. As such, Blanc lacks the ability to fly, but remains quite athletic though ground work and running.
There does however, comes an advantage to a lack of wings- due to the fact that they're hidden, she blends in with humans better, allowing herself to better eavesdrop on conversations faunus would normally never be allowed into. It's a bit of a struggle nonetheless, as her pride of being a faunus is still there within her. An insult of any kind is always hard to swallow.
About her Sembelance: Blanc’s sembelance is something quite unique. While not able to give herself anything significant or particular in terms of bolstering her combat ability, she can instead enhance the effectiveness of one's semblance within a certain proximity of her. (About 100 yards- so just about an american football field). For instance, if she were to team up with someone who gained speed from their semblance, being within her proximity would double that speed. The only catch is that Blanc can't move once she's decided to use her semblance. If she is moved, the cast is disrupted.
About her Weapon: Cygnus Sonata is Blanc's 'swan song'. As a pacifist by heart, she'll never be the first to draw her weapon, but if she ever does, it serves as quite the protector as its weapon base is primarily a shield. Featuring an anti-bullet and dust coating, the weapon was build to symbolize the swan faunus's desire to protect themselves from the outside world and any harm that may come their way. In terms of offence, the tip is designed to extend and forcibly to puncture enemy weapons, similar to a real life pile driver. It's design is unfit to kill, but rather disarm opponents and render their armor useless by exposing weak spots. Towards the top base of the shield, two micro Vulcan cannons are equip. Powered by dust, the shots fired run an electromagnetic current that further disarm weapons, stunning their functionality for a few minutes. If the shots were to make contact with skin, they cause the area to have a dull numb sensation.
Cygnus Sonata was forged by a family friend in Vale who helped Blanc get settled in the foreign land when she first escaped. She left his company soon afterward for his own safety, but she does come back to his shop from time to time for maintenance and a cup of tea, since the faunus lacks all know how of weapon forging and technology.
Try to find yourself!
(Oh wow! This is really cute, thanks so much! ^ w ^ )
Can't Spell Fun Without 'You' ! || Blake
"You’re wel-" And before she could finish her response, she found herself buried under Yang.
A small sigh escaped her as she was sprawled out a bit. The sigh was not of disappoint but more of a ‘you’re silly’ type of vibe. Reaching an arm over, she gave her a few pats on the back. There was a small muffled sound as she explained while still on top of her. “Mhmm.” As she rose up, she wiggled her ears under her bow and gave one of her smiles to the blonde. It would seem she was planning this for a long while. Knowing this bit of info, Blake felt she at least owed Yang that after everything that happened. There was no harm in it and she had no reason to refuse.
"I can see why…Torchwick is behind bars now so I think I can rest a bit more easily." Though in the back of her mind, she knew that jail wouldn’t stop Torchwick at all.
Even so, she wanted to make her partner’s day and her own. She really did need some fun whether she was going to admit that or not was a mystery. "No, no, that’s fine. It’s a chance to get used back to old weekends." Plus she wanted to see how Vale had recovered.
Blake instinctively reached to grab for Gambol Shroud. “Ah..” She stopped and turned towards her partner with somewhat worried eyes. "Should I leave it?"
Following her friend's concerned gaze, Yang realized she was referring to her weapon. Should Blake bring it? Honestly, she didn't see why not, but she look the question as an effort to be free of worry. Her partner was really trying her best. Yang smiled softly as she admired the effort, but quickly followed it up with a sort of 'nonchalant' attitude. The blonde figured she'd let the other be as comfortable as she'd allow herself. If having Gambol Shroud on her put her to ease, who was Yang to say what she could and couldn't do?
"Eh- up to you." she shrugs there- but by her body language, you can see she's implying a 'go for it, it's all good' vibe. Hopefully her partner caught her drift. She even equipped Ember Celica- she's hardly a master of subtlety. "You can never be too careful right~?"
With that, she pulled up a chair, and sat patiently for her partner to get ready. Yang knew better than anyone how Blake felt about going out in public. When hundreds of eyes pass you by, you want to make every little thing is perfect.
From her boots to the tippity top of that little black bow.

The faunus could feel Yang wavering and leaning closer to her. She could only assume that she wanted to do something or was bored. Blake had come to know what certain actions from her blonde partner meant. Her eyes wandered from the pages of her book to the violet eyes of her partner. She was secretly hiding a smile behind the pages, not wanting Yang to notice…yet.
"This one is about liberation of faunus through peaceful protests." Boy did that sound familiar. This was a book that Blake had cherished and it was on of her favorites, especially since it was written before the violent uprises in the White Fang. She gave her very real explanation before Yang suddenly gave her speed talk explanation which prompted Blake to look at her funny. Of course now she felt dumb for her explanation. ”Don’t think it contains any of that.” She replied with a tone that obviously carried some joke to it.
Doing a quick thinking session…she could always read later. To show Yang just that, she shut her book and set on the shelf as she looked at her more directly. "I take it you want to do something?" Well of course. The little smart alec Blake. "I’m free today, so…sure." This was a first for her, agreeing to skip out on reading to do something different.
"Woohoo! You're the best Blake! I promise you won't regret it!"
Hug attack!
Unlike her partner, there wasn't a need to hide her glee. Completely enthused by the fact she didn't have to egg on Blake to go with her as well as the answer she had received, Yang pretty much leapt onto her partner in crime for the day to give her a big sister glomp. The blonde didn't mean to crush her, but she couldn't help but show her appreciation that way, especially after Ruby and Weiss turned her down. ..and to think Blake turned down reading for this..! There's now way this could flop. She'd have to give it 110% to make sure her partner loved every second of it to make up for it. You've never seen lilac eyes so pumped.
"Let's go the new arcade that opened up downtown Vale!" she exclaimed proudly as she put her plan into motion. Slowly gave the other space after smothering her with love, she was even already reaching for her outing jacket - there was no way she wasn't going to let that 'sure' escape. They were locked in!
"After what happened with Torchwick, they've been doing a campaign to get the people back into the mood of fun, and I think we as a team could totally use that! They have shooting games, ski-ball, beat'um ups, It'll be so good, I promise you won't regret this."
"- that is, if it's okay with you to go. I mean we can always go do something else..." Hopefully she didn't have a change of heart after that 'enthusiastic' ramble.
The young, reindeer-like boy smiled a bit wider as he noticed the powerful blonde-haired warrior in front of him. Rushing toward Yang, he stopped right in front of her, reaching out and poking her leg with his hoof in order to get her to look down at him. "Excuse me!" He called out excitedly, hoping to make a new friend.
Out of nowhere, this little ball of fluff came running up to her. Was he… a reindeer? Guess it didn’t matter really- he wasn’t a Grimm that’s for sure, so maybe a type of Faunus? Questions aside, Yang ended up paying little mind to the differences between them. He seemed friendly enough, and that was all that mattered. Plus he was cute.
That’s a bonus in it’s own right too~
"Hey there little guy! What’s wrong? Are ya lost?"
Aftermath || Neo
♕ — Neo almost wanted to laugh. “I’m not stupid, it’s not that difficult to know when someone’s family, regardless of appearance.” That was something she knew all too well.
She certainly didn’t get the answer she thought she would, but she supposed she didn’t really know Yang at all. Sure, Neo could get a sense of what she was like from their few interactions, but like Yang had said, wasn’t like they actually knew each other. For another moment, Neo didn’t say anything, again because she hadn’t a clue what to say. She wanted Yang to believe her, so she had to be mindful of what she was saying.
"So tell me this, then. If Ruby was killed—if you watched it happen, and the person who did it was never punished for it, would it change you? Is that really such a far fetched idea? I know you don’t like me. You’re quick to label me as a bad guy, not without reason. But I had reason for doing what I did, and I realize now that it was wrong. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t being sincere.”
"....."
She fell to silence. There was no come back in the world that could counter the price of Ruby's life. Yang couldn't imagine what she'd do it something so horrid were to occur- she didn't want to. Her little sister was her whole world, and she's dedicated her life to keeping her safe. Removing Ruby would have been synonymous with removing her will to live, only to have that void replaced with despair, hatred and eternal madness.
It wasn't a pretty thought.
Was that what the mystery girl was talking about..? She was right- she couldn't help but label her after that indecent... but did that mean she actually had a reason for doing all this other than she was just straight up evil? It was a naive thought, but Yang wanted it to be true. Did this girl really have emotions? Was she really driven by a cause beyond her control that filled her with regret this day? is this really...her sincerity?
Even monsters have feelings.- she found them hard to accept.
"...Explain. " her voice calm now, her sharp tone replaced with one that seemed to beckon curiosity. "If you're as sentient as you claim, convince me... tell me your story. Make me believe you. "
Can't Spell Fun Without 'You' ! || Blake
Rest and relaxation. Those were the two things that Blake had required after recent events. A roller coaster of events was a proper analogy to that. The dorm room was empty and quiet and the faunus was face deep in a novel while she rested on her bed of the bunk she shared with her blonde partner.
Eyes shifted left and then right as mind took in the information. Yes, reading truly was something that could bring the raven-haired girl at ease. A small sigh left her lips as she flipped the page. Though she was content, she didn’t really want to smile. Not that she wasn’t happy but that it wouldn’t really matter if she did or not with nobody else present in the room with her. Smiles were meant to be seen by others weren’t they?
Instincts picked up as her ears wiggled slightly under her bow. She knew something was going to happen, what that was, she didn’t know…yet. Something was definitely going to happen, that much was for sure.
Her eyes shifted the door as a loud and proud entrance was made, enough to make her jump even if she did expect it. Her eyes fell upon none other than the little sun dragon, her partner, Yang Xiao Long. Letting a small sigh of relief pass, she shifted her eyes back to the book. Before she could get in a greeting, she saw the blonde hovering over her. A sense of long overdue deja vu swept over her. And also a sense of invitation for a strange reason.
"A book." Blake replied simply.
Yes, she had her attention! Taking a moment to relax, Yang eased in her pose; moving to the side as to not completely block her reading light while still engaging in conversation. The Blonde wasn't that cruel. All the same though, she'd hope Blake would give her the time of day. She might just roll up into a ball of endless (and faux) sadness until she guilt tripped them all to go next time. Yes, she was that dedicated to the plan.
"A Book huh? What's it about~?" Silly Blake, you'd have to do more than that to chase me off - with an attempt at a warm, captivating smile, she carried on with her attempt to bring the kitty cat on board with the plan. "Is it about... I don't know... two best friends who decide to celebrate their butts off with an adventure full of fun? I here that genre is all the rage today."
Nothing like a little 'literature lingo' to keep pace with her partner right? Dust, did that sound bad. Regardless of how silly it sounded coming from her own mouth,Yang's increased knowledge of books was something she could attribute to getting to know her partner. Yup. Ever since day one, Blake Belladonna has been the ying to her yang- they did everything together, and she for one, sought out everything she could to be able to work well with this little black bow. Books and smarts were no exception, and hopefully the phrasing would earn her brownie points. That, or at least keep the topic of interest on her~.

'W-What do you mean you can't come? You promised we could hang out- you know, sister bonding time? Common' Ruby, don't do this...! Weiss? Please? Aww come on..!"
She was greeted with nothing but a meek shake of the head fro one, and a crossed armed pout from another. Darn it Ruby, Weiss has you whipped beyond all reason... Yang wasn't one to give up on the spectacular, fun packed, super awesome extravaganza she had planned for the team to go on, but one couldn't help but let out a sigh when your last minute plans crumbled before you against a planned event, two months in the making.
"You two can go shopping any other time..!"
And with a mouthed 'sorry' from their leader, the two were gone. Great. So much for Team RWBY's day of fun- R and W were missing. That just left B, B as in Blake, whom Yang was all too sure would be the same result- 'no thanks'. To be honest, she had been banking on convincing the other two first, that way they could all approach Blake and drag her along... but looks like things were going to be done the hard way. Yang would have to face the book worm alone, on a perfect day to be reading too. Fan-tastic.
Gathering the shattered remains of her will that Ruby and Weiss had left on the floor, Yang did her best to pump herself up, and be as energized as possible. She must have looked a little loony- talking to herself as she made her way up to the dorms from the airship bay. She wasn't going to take no for an answer- she spent a whole hour planning this! That was time she was never going to get back, and as selfish as it seemed, Blake was coming with her. Yup. No matter what!
With a triumphant style of opening the dorm door, Yang was going to make her presence known! Anyone else would have turned to look after that, but no not Blake. Reading as usual. Deciding to take the lead, she leaned herself against the nightstand, more or less hovering over her. With any luck maybe some small talk would ease her into the idea.
or atleast take her out of the book~
"Hey there! Whatcha reading?"
"I think I need help..."
Wandering the streets of Vale again, Yang was caught off guard when she was approached by another. Asking for help huh? Let’s see what’s up.
"Oh hey..! Uh, what did you need help with Miss? Is something wrong?"
The girl had been walking behind the other, not really talking to anyone in particular. Her head raised as she heard the other, surprise evident on her features. “Oh um…”
“I was looking for a Dust Shop. I keep getting lost…and…yea.” Ellie trailed off, scratching the back of her head a bit awkwardly.
Oh, phew, she was just lost. That much Yang could handle, though she wouldn’t have minded hunted a bunch of crooks down or something more action packed. Guess she was just wound up still from the accident in Vale. It was easy to forget that people had regular. everyday problems too. Being lost was one of them. In fact… maybe she could play tour guide for a while? She didn’t have to back to Beacon for a while anyway. Professor Port’s class could certainly wait.
"Dust Shop huh? Well, I know just the one for ya! My Sis gets a special deal at a shop downtown since she saved the owner from a robbery- common’ I’l take you there if you’d like?"
