"MmmâŠIâve been here a few times.  But I still manage to get lost, in one way or another."  She wasnât used to how big this world was - the town, the outskirts at surround civilizationâŠthe broken castle that stands tall.  She hopes to one day, explore all of it.  ââŠAre you familiar with the area?  Oh and.  Iâm Shade.  By the way.âShe pondered, still a little lost in thought.  His presence puzzled her.  Not that it was bad - it was just different. Was he a traveler?  She wondered what kind of events heâs been through.
"That's understandable." He responds, all too familiar memories are recalled on instant, pertaining to a first trip taken back here. In mind's eye it seems like just a year ago he first walked through on these paths, the reality however, differs copiously. "It's a large place. It's not uncommon." Chin dips ever so slightly, as irises pan up somewhat, still holding that tad bit of curiosity. "I am. Is there somewhere in particular you were looking for? --And my name is Terra, it's nice to meet you Shade."
it begins.
Oh, he noticed?  Maybe she was being a bit too obvious.  "Ah.  Iâve been exploring around this area, thatâs all."  Her eyes gazed at the man before her.  More questions started to buzz in the back of her head.  The way he dressed wasâŠdifferent.  AndâŠthere was something about his presence - it felt different, and it felt strong with a certain kind of warmth.  But she couldnât quite describe it in words.  It wasnât normal for her to feel something with anyone.  Was it his heart? Putting her thoughts together and in order, she made eye contact with him.  "Are you from here?"
Frankly, he isn't. Though fond memories and close familiarity with these stone walls often draw him back, and the keyblader finds himself wayfaring on a penchant lull. "No, I'm not." A hand on the side of the book eases it shut, rising up from the prior seated position. A former neutral expression morphs into an inquisitive look. "I'm just .wandering. Are you new to Radiant Gardens?"
Curiously looks over.  Wonder what book that man is reading?  Itâs none of her business butâŠhe sure looks engaged in it.
Blinking up from the text, he's startled for the small portion of a minute. "Sorry, I didn't see you there."The curvature of a smile begins, just a little sheepish. "Can I help you with something?"
Muses at the book he's reading, flipping the page eagerly.

He always liked those lazy summer evenings, the way the air was crisp and the smell of fresh water rose up from the fountains. Even after being destroyed, it still retained those fine qualities about it. It was a comforting scent, one that brought him back to his days of a child, back to when the world was just his small little home in the castle, and everything wasn't so complicated.
"I thought I'd find you up here." He calls, a wistful sigh following before joining her at the ledge. His first instinct on returning was to come back to the wall where they once spoke of future hopes and dreams. Everything seemed so insignificant compared to the bigger picture back then.Â
"It's strange thinking, that 11 years passed in a flash." Looking at her, his fingers brush against hers. "-- You alright?"

"I knowâŠ" she murmured. There was something so melancholic about the way they said it. They both knew how bad the worlds could be, and they both simply prayed for a life of peace.
"âŠSo I guess weâll have to make as man of these moments as we can to make up for it, huh?"
His hand falls to her shoulder, and his grip tightens just a little before he looks at her, a shared moment in mutual respect. It wasn't easy, he could see it in her face, and he's certain it reflected in his too.
"Yeah. We should. And we will."
"Me too," she sighed, scooting closer to twine herself against him like he traced lattice work in her hair. It was so easy, so calm, these times between their work. Before he had to leave again and before she was called away.
"If I had to pick a way to live forever, I think Iâd pick this."
He didn't nod, nor did he move. His gaze remained steadfast, searching for a future in the distance that had no war, no destruction. A future that held hope and safety. It was a probable thought, nice in hindsight, but it'd take work, much like everything else. And until then, it meant parting.
"I'd pick it every time, without hesitation."
Aqua leaned against him, reaching one hand up to adjust and secure the flower in her hair. She didnât really feel like she agreed with himâ she was a warrior, not a pretty flowerâ but him thinking as much was nice.
"Mmmmh, there you go again. Flattery will get you everywhere."
"It's not flattery, it's the truth." He protested lightly, honest to the worlds he was being truthful, but he would accept it regardless. Fingers idly weave in and out of her hair, careful to not disturb the site of the flower. He seems to stare out, stare into the distance. "It's nice.. like this I've missed it."
"I was cheesy," she giggled a bit at him, but looped her arm around his all the same. "But it was cute. Keep those lines coming, and you might get a kiss out of it."
"Heh, sorry." Yet he can't help but laugh at his own actions. "I'm glad I managed to get something right out of it. --And hey, at least I was on the right track too. But I did mean what I said."
Aqua laughed, light and airy, at his words. âWhen did you get so sentimental?â she asked, nudging his side gently. âYouâre going to make me blush, Terra.â
Chuckling lightly, he dips his head in a further effort to conceal that glowing red. "S-Sorry, was that a bit too much?"Â
"Well I donât know," she smiled back at him, moving to lean against his shoulder. "Not really. But knowing the reason why is still a lot of fun."
"Well if I said it was to make you look pretty, that wouldn't be truthful. --- It, accented you. Or rather, you made it prettier." The rising blush deepens, words coming out more fumbled towards the end.
