It’s definitely more “meaty” than you’d think given that it doesn’t look like much.
Quite unlike stabbing that monster of a thing from before, this is satisfying, this feels right and good.
It shrieks horribly as it’s impaled, its body practically folding around the impact as it deflates and vaporizes around your spear.
There’s no trace of it left, not even blood. That, perhaps, is a little disappointing.

I suppose I ought to commend you for having the same idea as I did. It’ll do us no good to simply allow that monstrosity to undo all of Mahina’s hard work. And since she must in some way undo this misfortune in order to be in good standing with her clan…
We have no choice but to get as many of the pieces as we can, without gaining the beast’s attention. And if we can do it without troubling Mahina further, the better.

I’m a busy guy, y’know. I’ve been working real hard and lookin’ for all those pieces for Mahina. I came out this morning and spent all day until I found the one here ‘bout twenty minutes ago.
