@fatally-alive pete operated as "heavyhorse" on the old network54 forums consistently & openly. the username refers to his epiphone coronet guitar, also called "heavy horse" (pictured here: x) ... the libs forums r all defunct now - but u can access archives of them via the wayback machine. forums back in '02 didn't have much so-called internet safety guidelines, so you can see heavyhorse/peter's IP address in the old posts - the IP address puts whoever was making the heavyhorse posts in london. (which from what i understand - was where peter was often living in 2002)

there's also a lot of details abt peter's life that wasn't common knowledge in the early ‘00s on the heavyhorse entrees. in an april 8th 2003 post, heavyhorse says: "ive got a baby boy coming in july, rough trade hate me wheres my bone?" .. peter's son with singer lisa moorish was born two months later in on july 13th of that year.

Definitely real - these have never really been in question. Peter was well known to use the forums under that username. One of the major ways the band bonded with fans was via their availability online. They were early adopters of reaching fans directly this way and well known for it. Carl also popped in there occasionally. There were posts claiming to be Peter under different names, which were fake, but Heavy Horse was Peter’s account and therefore it’s fair to assume everything posted under that username came from him.

it's been almost a year since i saw the boys in my home country. i remember Peter saying "If you come out the exit through the gate, pass cherry blossom trees, take first exit and keep going for 3 million miles, you come to little island called England, that's where we've come from to see you" before they started playing Merry Old England. Also there was some cherry blossom flowers on top of the amp and Peter threw them to Carl as he walked into the stage before What Katie Did. the image will always be stuck in my head i think. those flowers are so beautiful in this time of the year here and whenever i see those flowers i'll always be reminded of them. sorry got a bit sentimental and my iphone 12 camera wasn't very good but i just wanted to share this experience (x)
