Fostering the most lovable senior dog right now

Except the rescue I am fostering from doesn't care about him, whatsoever.

He's a bit medically complex but its not difficult caring for him at all. He has diabetes and is treated with insulin and a prescription diet, cushings disease where he takes meds for twice a day for it, and he has severe cataracts (essentially blind). He was also attacked by another dog prior to me getting him and he has an infection from the wound that he gets treatment for.

Not once did they reach out to see how he is holding up, adapting, or if he's okay when given to me. When I reach out to them for clarifying questions or concerns or give them updates - I never get a response. And when I do hear from them, it's incredibly dismissive and they actually push me to adopt him myself. Mind you, for his PetFinder.com posting *and* their website, he is the ONLY dog up for adoption where they don't even have a description written for him...it's just blank. Along with telling me to adopt him, they guilt me whenever I remind them that this is temporary.

If it were up to me, I'd adopt this dog myself but my dog isnt acclimating well, like he normally does with other dogs. My dog just started chemo and is about to undergo a 2nd surgery soon. So this could be the cause to it. Even after explaining this as my reason for not adopting him, they essentially told me that I'm someone who needs to be more patient and understanding and I'm not being fair to the dog by not adopting him...

I'm a new foster for this specific rescue and it's rated one of the top rescues in NYC and I'm actually surprised by how they are treating him. And how I am being treated.
