Comic Sneak Peek

I'm trying a different approach in making comic-making by working on two comic chapters at the same time; I'm currently thumbnailing the chapter where Nib meets Daffodil (NatureTale!Alphys), but I'm also writing the script and doing a draft reference for the other chapter where Nib meets Captain Mew Mew (from @showtime-ut, a relatively new AU that has a bit of an innovative twist on the roleshifting genre).

As you might guess from the outfit, she's a robot pirate. Her design went through several iterations, and this was the final design that I settled on, trying my best to keep the original canon design while still doing it in my own style that I use for my comic.

(Part 1) here it is! part 1 of sensetale is finally here… again. this part has been done for a while as part 0 took a bit to make with the intro panels. either way i hope you enjoy, future parts may take a bit release after this. oh yeah and click here or on the picture to read part 1 picture by funside also sans and muffet join the asks again, you may as them anything as well as aquine, but reminder aquine cannot interact with any of these characters in the underground. The Dapperly Duo, Chara and Frisk

Frisk's Dislikes: Carrots, Disappointing others, Peer Pressure

Chara's Dislikes: Carrots, Their Parents, Dark Chocolate

Background: Chara and Frisk were classmates back when they were on the surface. Frisk was normally the one getting picked on by the other kids, not being popular and over all being too cheery and weak. Easy picking for bullies, until one day, Chara stood up for Frisk and told them to back off. Chara and Frisk soon became friends after that moment and soon, even best friends! The two became inseparable, no matter how everyone tried to split them apart.

Eventually, enough was enough and the two decided to take a trip to Mt. Ebott, where the two would never be forced to separate their friendship anymore. As they made it to the underground, they traveled as far as they could until they were captured by Captain Mew Mew's crew. Chara and Frisk were sent to the capital where King Mettaton was trying to decide what to do with them. That's when an idea struck in MTT's head!

What if he had two human stars along with his vision of a perfect paradise? The two would be popular in no time, and not to mention the ratings! So Mettaton decided to appoint the two to be showbiz stars for all of the underground to see! And that's how the "Dapperly Duo" came to be, a true duo that can never be separated.....right?

Fun Facts

The rings around Chara and Frisk's hats normally levitate and circle around their hats

The orbs on their canes allow them to use magical abilities, so they can bring more pizzazz to the show!

Frisk looks up to King Mettaton while Chara is grateful to give them the life they have now

The Dapperly Duo's taglines are "The Frisky Frisk" and "The Charismatic Chara"

Background: Smartypants was once a teen that worked in a fast food restaurant. One day, he decided to quit his job due, not only because of the low pay, unsanitary environments, and the constant bullying from his boss and customers, he wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a scientist! To his luck, the previous royal scientist seemed to pass away and there's a demand for a new one. He thought that this will be the chance of a life time, a chance to follow his dream goal!

After filling out the resume, and meeting the king to show off a prototype robot and talk about his other skills, he was given the job! Now he has finally become the scientist he's always dreamt of being, along with some other perks provided by Mettaton. Everything seems to be going great!... But as time went on, his job started to get crummy, tiring, and dreadful in general

So here's a little lesson, be careful what you wish for!

-Smartypants isn't his actual name, its a nickname made up by King Mettaton that everyone else caught on. However, he prefers it over his real name

-Frisk and Chara sometimes check up on Smartypants to see if he's working or not

-Even with his new job, he still prefers it over being a fast food worker

-Smartypants does have a labcoat, he simply just prefers the robe over it

Background: Mew Mew was once a rambunctious ghost and the more wild of the royal ghost family, being a princess and all. Shortly after Mettaton obtained their robotic body, Mew Mew wanted to have one of her own, so Mettaton had the new royal scientist, Smartypants, to build the perfect for her. Once she did get her body, she was able to build a pirate crew with Smartypant's help and now she's tasked by Mettaton to sail around Opal Coast and Dockwell, capturing anyone who "refused to comply" and force then to do so.

Fun Fact

Mew Mew believes Napstablook is a traitor for not running away and following with Mettaton's idea for a "Perfect Paradise"

Despite everything, she has yet to perfectly fuse with her robotic body

Her Crewmate robots are known as Micromews
