Tim Sweeney spent the past 6 months ankle-biting Valve. He wasted YEARS putting all his eggs in the Fortnite basket instead of developing other games. He REFUSED to fix the Epic Store, and instead paid off devs to put their games on it exclusively instead of making a good storefront.

He's now crying about Roblox being a threat to him, and wants the industry to unite for a """""better future""""" and to team up against """""""threats to the industry""""""" or some shit.

All of this after announcing UE6 will be an AI engine, and that he's doubling down on AI, when UE5 barely got off the ground and still barely works.

Roblox has all the younger generations locked in, while Steam has all the current and older generations locked in. Epic is stasis locked with nothing to offer anyone because Tim's plan is always to attempt to destroy someone else instead of actually developing his company and products.

I asked Gemini to decapitalize the text of a selected group of cells in a spreadsheet at my job. (Gemini was a mandatory install decided by the state.)

I typed "decapitalize" after highlighting the cells.

The fucking thing took forever and spat out something like 5 paragraphs about how it was "determining intent and context" of what I was asking it to do, before it finally decapitalized the text in the cells, which I thought was a fucking obvious request. That took longer than a fucking macro. Holy shit.

Why can't we have simpler solutions that people have been begging for, for decades? Why does everything have to go through the tedious and inefficient AI?

I was stuck on one of the first puzzles in PikuNiku because being mean just never crosses my mind in games, lmao. I finally got past it and opened up the rest of the game, and I've been enjoying it a lot more. The later areas also have better music (not that the first area music is bad).

I really like this game. It feels a lot like when I picked up Toem and A Short Hike on a whim and fell in love with them. (Also, I know about Toem 2, and I'm excited for it!)
