#for now I'm preparing for some entrance exams so I don't really have much time #and also I'm kinda struggling to get back into digital art after this brutal semester #but I'll get there!!! I did some sketches and studies to get my brain going #so yeah probably soon #and also probably I'll reopen my commissions soon #I don't wanna open them until I'm not fully certain I can dedicate time to them #it'd feel unfair to make people wait just because I miscalculated my capacity #shrews ramblings #as for the game #as much as I have my fair bits of criticism about it #I think it's really really enjoyable :D #and the atmosphere is 10/10 they nailed that #of course I chose Tremere for my first run #let's see how it goes

There's some limits to my art that I feel make it boring and I need to break out of it lest I go insane

#that recent cyanotype workshop has me wondering how I could incorporate that into my paintings #gesso primed canvas can probably hold cyanotype I could use that as a base hmmm #and then paint on it while leaving some parts bare blue and white #ohhhhh cadmium red medium and light would look SO good on cyanotype blue #though I think the issue isn't with the technique #perhaps with the subject #or my array of expressive tools #perhaps some art history knowledge would help me out #I can't really paint man-made objects #I'm best ar organic things even if contorted #I want to fix that #even if I feel like nothing beats the human figure #shrews ramblings #once again I'm posting incoherent thoughts instead of working aughghh I need to lock back in
