About this event
This is a knowledge exchange meet-up where professionals from various backgrounds can come together with neurodiversity advocates and share their successes and challenges as well as using our diverse ways of thinking to consider solutions for those challenges. If you wish to register, you can pose a question for 'Part 2' of the meeting. The best questions are those that are based on real challenges that the participant faces so that we can all discuss together ways in which to overcome challenges in a non-judgemental way.
Bring a coffee, bring your linkedin addresses and share knowledge in a completely safe space.
What could I get out of this event?
A sense of belonging amongst a like minded group.
A regular safe space where you know you can talk and ask questions and share stories.
New network connections that strengthen the bond between neurodivergent and neurotypicals alike to reduce the risks of an 'us vs them' culture that can often arise when talking about differences.
What is the format of the meeting?
Welcome, introductions and topic survey.
Part 1: Breaking the ice (15 minutes)
Breakout Rooms Session 1: Networking - Introduce yourselves, what is your relationship with ND?
Part 2: Topic of the day (30 minutes)
Wheel of fortune: Question for discussion
Breakout Rooms Session 2: Discussions on the topic of the day
Group summaries of discussion
Part 3: Networking (15 minutes)
Breakout Rooms Session 3 : Networking session 2
At the end of the meeting, an evaluation form will be sent to participants for feedback on how we can improve these meetings.
