it’s really hard to not follow duplicates because everybody has these weird views of etiquette. like, if i follow a duplicate, i don’t wanna steal your stuff. i don’t wanna rip off your plots. i don’t wanna take your rp partners.

i really just want to bond over how much we both love this same character, i guess?? i want to see how you write them, i want to see what you think they think. i follow you because obviously, i want to read your fantastic writing and i love your ideas. this misconception that duplicates hate each other is ridiculous and it makes me sad.
