"Clock maker, right?" Ran asked him as she saw him glance at the watches. "They’re intricate as hell on the inside, with all the cogs and stuff if I’m right." She glanced down. "Too many."

He nods, looking at them closely. “All the cogs are necessary to make the clock function and keep perfect time. Each cog is an important piece in the larger, perfect puzzle.”

"I don’t think I would have the patience for it." She shrugged. "Keeping everything perfect isn’t my style."

"How can you live if everything isnt organized and perfect...? I couldn't make sense of life with it like that."

"I see. It looks well crafted, from my experience making finely tuned objects." He looks at his watches. "Not that it matters much any more. We’ve lost so many."

She looked to him. “Basically. Most are pretty simply made. Mine however-” She held it up higher to show it off. “Is custom made just for me.” Ran placed down the cloth. “I’ve used it in all of my competitions.”

"I see. It looks well crafted, from my experience making finely tuned objects." He looks at his watches. "Not that it matters much any more. We've lost so many."

Ran sat outside her cabin, cleaning her paintball gun once again. Although she hadn’t been using it quite as much, she still had to clean it. It kept her mind off of this bizarre situation which she had been slowly wrapping her mind around. The paintballer sighed and looked around for any company. Someone to talk to might be nice.

David had happened to be walking past from the main hotel, noting Ran. He turned, looking at her. "I have to say, that gun looks pretty well made. Do they all have that craftsmanship?" He looked like he was avoiding something- probably also their situation.

Oncoming of despair

David stared at the classmates acting oddly, trying to understand just what was going on here. “What is happening to everyone… Why are you all acting so mad? Do you think that negative thinking is gonna help anyone?!”

She scoffed “Do you fucking think being positive will actually help you fucking nerd.”

She seemed to have a tight grip on her arms when she crossed them.

"No. Blind optimism is also a fallacy, as well as this.. Utter despair. All that works is rational thought." He crosses his arms. "If you're going to be so draining, you should leave."

"You know I’ve been getting so many intrusive thoughts lately… I could easily kill you all, and get off of this island, be the winner of this damned game. There wouldn’t be a trial if you were all dead." Ran grinned.

The clothing that was found... is it sized for a male or a female?

It’s rather small…perhaps it could fit both. You can’t seem to tell

"H-Her…?" He frowned, looking back at the body. "I-I see. Hmn. I think the costuming must not have been her. It had to have been put on to throw us off, based on the bag you found."

"Yeah. If that’s true, they might have made it look like she had done it herself as well. ..Since she’s able to make cosplays, and I think Ringo is her closest friend here."

"Hmn... A question I don't have much knowledge on. Can you look at the way her chest is bound? Would she be able to do it that way herself. That could help figure out whether it was her clothes that were changed, or the murderers."

"H-Her…?" He frowned, looking back at the body. "I-I see. Hmn. I think the costuming must not have been her. It had to have been put on to throw us off, based on the bag you found."

"Yeah. If that’s true, they might have made it look like she had done it herself as well. ..Since she’s able to make cosplays, and I think Ringo is her closest friend here."

"No... I think they may be trying to frame Ringo. I'm unsure as of now... Let's keep looking around and see what we can find, okay?"

"Then give the information- unless you’re trying to hide something from the investigation…" He shook his head. "If this is your friend, I’m sure that she would want you to divulge any information necessary."

Etsumi nodded. She quietly but clearly said the name of the dead student. “…Akemi Rika.” She turned away a bit soon after.

Excellent. Question 2, is the blood on the wrench just as dry as the blood on her head? Or is there inconsistency there?

Yes! The blood isn’t fresh at all.

So to clarify, the wrench blood is less fresh than the head blood? or are they the same.

"David, I…I know who it is." Was it okay to say who she was? She thought to herself, trying to make the decision on if she should say or not.
