Hinata simply stared blankly at the super high-school level hall monitor, not even dignifying Ishimaru's joke with a roll of his eyes. He had to draw the line somewhere. Evidently that line was at bad jokes.

"...I should be going," he announced, getting to his feet. "I still need to find my classrooms and get to the dorms. It's been nice meeting you, Ishimaru."

"Uh-huh! He says things like he’s not important or necessary and it’s sad because he is important!" She slumps, kicking her feet, “everyone’s important, no matter who they are."

She looks up to Hinata and giggles, “Have you met the hamsters yet? They’re really cute!!" She smiles, “Sun-D allowed me to snuggle her, though he stated that I was lucky she allowed me to." she giggles again, “Gundam-kun appears to be really tough but he’s just a really big teddy bear."

Hinata didn't necessarily agree on that point... But he figured it would be wisest not to voice his opinion here.

"Gundam's really over-the-top.." Hinata rubbed the back of his neck. "I hope I can get along with him, for the sake of his 'dark gods' not making my school life miserable. They are cute hamsters, though."

Deciding that he'd spent enough time resting, Hinata got to his feet and checked to make sure he still had everything he'd come into the room with.

"Well, I don't want to keep you from your computer all evening," he said apologetically. "I'd better get going. It's been nice meeting you, Fujisaki."

"Ah! I will tell you the story! Come, we can sit in the cafeteria! It is just down this way." He practically dragged Hinata down to the room, and sat him down, then sitting down himself. “You may know of the Prime Minister Toranosuke. He was my grandfather, Toranosuke Ishimaru." Ishimaru looked a bit distasteful at the name. “He was considered a genius by everyone. He could excel without trying at all. He hit the highest heights quicker than anyone else." Ishimaru sighed, “And then he fell quicker than anyone else. He threw our whole family into debt. Since then, my family, especially my parents, have been looked upon with distaste. I have always been working hard, since then! To bring my family honor when I become Prime Minister myself!"

Hinata followed after him (at a bit faster pace than Hinata appreciated) and allowed himself to be seated rather roughly. Silently, he heard out Ishimaru's story, nodding where appropriate.

"That's pretty serious.." Hinata replied, not sure what to say. "But it sounds like you're on the right track to redeem your family's name. If anyone is bound to succeed in life outside of the academy," he gestured to pretty much all of Ishimaru. "I can bet it would be you."

"Oh! I met Komaeda!!" She giggles, clasping her hands together, “He’s really nice!! But he’s really sad too." She saddens, bowing her head, “But I like him! He’s friendly!!"

She smiles, “I think my best friend here would have to be my roomie, Mukuro-san…or Ishimaru-kun…or Gundam-Kun."

Sad? That hadn't been something Hinata was picking up on, but they had only just met. Friendly was spot-on though; he might be a little too friendly for Hinata's tastes.

"Ah, Gundam's my roommate," he commented. "He's a little...different." To put it lightly.

"In any school, you should never fail! Always be the best you can be!" He smiled. “It certainly is an honor. I myself can not even believe I was scouted out, despite my family’s bad name. Surely you know what has tainted our name?" He looked at Hinata curiously.

Despite himself, Hinata found himself intrigued by the mention of something like that. Ishimaru certainly didn't look like he'd come from a family with a bad reputation.

"I don't," Hinata replied, shaking his head. "If it's a long story, we could find somewhere to sit..."

"I am splendid in all subjects because I am always studying!" He lifted a fist into the air determinedly. “I am in many clubs already, but organizing a study group would be an excellent idea! You must be some sort of Super High School Level Common Sense! Or maybe, Super High School Level Good Ideas!" He smiled.

"Of course you are," Hinata replied dryly. The other's enthusiasm was a little contagious, though, and he relaxed a bit. The compliment didn't go unappreciated and Hinata offered him an awkward half-smile in return. "Thanks. Being in this academy is such an honor, so I wouldn't want to slip up on my schoolwork and fail out.." Actually, that seemed like the worst possible scenario to him and he grimaced unconsciously.

She nods, “Yeah, I haven’t met too many people myself." She thinks about this, “But a lot of them are nice though! I bet even the heir guy is nice once you get to know him!"

Chirping happily she looks to Hinata, “Have you made any close friendships yet?" She tilts her head, “Well….Friends? I guess close friendships has to wait a bit, huh?"

"Hmm..." Hinata thought for a moment, considering who among the students he met today he could consider a friend. "It's a little early to say for sure, but I think I could wind up being friends with Komaeda. Have you met him yet?" At the very least, Komaeda jumped at the opportunity to be helpful.

"How cold!" Ishimaru looked taken aback. “No matter! Hinata-kun, I believe you would have to pull out your schedule for me to compare!" Ishimaru waved his own schedule around, smiling. “However, from what I could tell, I think we have Mathematics together!"

Grudgingly, Hinata withdrew his schedule from his pocket again and unfolded it, glancing it over again.

"I'm decent at math.. But it wouldn't hurt to see about getting a study group together. What do you think?" he asked, with the hope that someone like Ishimaru would be great at math.

"You should watch where you’re going! Bumping into people could cause some harm and inconvenience!" He looked at the student. “Ah! A new student! I will introduce myself." He dusted himself off a bit, stood a little straighter, and announced, “My name is Kiyotaka Ishimaru! Super High School Level Hall Monitor!" He displayed his armband with pride. “And you are…" He examined the schedule that Hinata was holding. “Hajime Hinata. Super High School Level…" He paused. “What kind of schedule have you received? I wonder what happened…but you must know your Super High School Level! What is it?" He stared expectantly at Hinata.

Hinata tried a little too late to keep his schedule out of Ishimaru's sight, stuffing it into his pocket. Great. Most of the other students hadn't even asked since he hadn't been asking about the others', but it looked like it wasn't going to be that easy with this guy.

"I don't think that's your business," Hinata replied coldly, hoping that would be enough. "It's not important. So," he added, changing the subject and his tone hopefully quickly enough to keep Ishimaru away from the topic. "Do we have any classes together?"

"Just a program," Chihiro chirps, “I just about have it completed!" She turns to the computer, saving her work really quickly and then closing it. “Where all have you explored? Have you met everyone yet?"
