From the moment she had woken up to see her own mutilated body in front of her, and Phi’s dead body lying nearby, Lorelai had done nothing but cry - cry as if her heart was broken. She was dead. She had left behind Mae and Eu, she had left behind Osamu, she had left behind her friends back in LA…she would never get to see any of them again. She didn’t even get the chance for one last hug, or one last “I love you”. The last thing Lorelai experienced in her own body was fear and excruciating pain. Lorelai could remember the sensation of that scalpel digging into her skin all too well…the more Lorelai dwelled on it, the harder she sobbed.

Through her weeping, Lorelai watched the entire trial, shocked during Akila’s confession. Had she called Lorelai her crush? Lorelai cared for Akila very much, and she knew Akila did as well, but Lorelai had no idea that Akila saw her as more than just a friend…the realization was heartbreaking, and left Lorelai sobbing anew. Her weeping never ceasing, Lorelai waited as Akila’s execution played out, wanting nothing more than to hug Akila tight as soon as Akila joined her in this bizarre afterlife state.

Akila woke up in the trial room feeling groggy and confused, and as soon as she remembered her own execution, she immediately looked down at her legs and began inspecting her limbs for any signs of trauma. Akila sighed in relief when she realized that she had finally died. That execution was longer and more tortuous than any of the executions prior and she hadn't expected it to be as bad as it was- which was really saying something!

Akila spent a few moments just staring down at her legs as she let herself grip the reality of the situation. She murdered someone, and she was executed. She wouldn't be able to see her family ever again, she'd never be able to say goodbye or even tell them why she did what she did. Akila couldn't believe that she had killed someone. Her only solace came from the fact that the rest of her peers were safe from Phi...- or, Mary, actually... And at least they could all eat now. Akila shut her eyes and tried to smile, but a couple of tears rolled down her cheeks anyways. It's good that only three people died, instead of the whole group, right? It's better than everyone starving, isn't it? Akila couldn't help but feel selfish. Why did it have to be Lorelai? Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't Phi have killed someone else.. like Iain or Lime...? If it were anyone else, she would've backed out as if she hadn't seen anything and she would've convicted Phi in the trial and she would have relished Phi's execution- but it was Lorelai. She couldn't just stand by and watch Lorelai be tortured and killed..! Fuck Iain.

Akila slowly rose to her feet, halfway expecting to feel the same blistering pain in her legs again- but she actually felt nothing at all. Akila began on her search to locate Lorelai.

"Hah?" Lorelai was in the middle of taking a rather large, unladylike bite out of her coffeecake when Akila suddenly sat down at her table. Holding up one finger, Lorelai took a moment to chew and swallow her food before responding. "I’m fine; I still feel sick, but I’m sure it’ll pass - it’s getting warmer, so I just need rest and some day-quil from the infirmary."

Lorelai gave Akila a warm smile - it was nice to have such a close companion in this situation, especially after Osamu had been put into a coma. “Thanks for asking, Akila. Thanks in general, actually. I really do appreciate you looking out for me and everything.” Lorelai leaned over the table and placed a small kiss on Akila’s cheek.

Akila nodded in agreement with Lorelai as she took a sip of her water, not even really noticing Lorelai's large bite of cake.

" Yeah, I'm sure that you'll be as good as new within a few days. I had been taking a bunch of vitamins just to prevent illness and I think it worked for the most part."

Akila had been looking down at her sandwich as Lorelai spoke and just as Akila reached out to pick it up, she saw Lorelai lean across the table.

Akila pulled her hands away from the plate and looked up, receiving Lorelai's kiss on the cheek with a smile and a light blush. She tilted her head a little and shook her head.

" It's no problem, Lorelai..! I just want to make sure you're safe."

Once the trial ended, Lorelai quickly made her way to the bistro, hoping that the temperature had gotten high enough to melt water. Lorelai was severely dehydrated, and combined with her pneumonia it made her feel pretty bad. When she got there, she was satisfied to find that she could order drinks again. Asking one of the monobears staffing the bistro for a slice of coffee cake and a mug of hot chocolate (with marshmallows, of course) Lorelai sat down at a table near the window, overlooking the balcony and the amusement park beyond.

Sipping on her hot chocolate in between coughing fits, Lorelai stared out the window quietly. She was trying to stay positive, she really was. She wanted her positive energy to lift the spirits of her fellow students, in spite of all these cruel motives, murders, and executions. It was getting difficult to remain optimistic, bur Lorelai was trying her best. She could only hope that the others would be able to do the same.

After the trial ended, Akila slowly made her way up to the bistro in an effort to find water to drink. While everything was frozen, in order to keep herself from dying from thirst she had taken ice and sucked on it and she even ate snow to keep herself hydrated. Now that this motive has passed due to Lucas' crime, would there finally be drinks and showers? Akila wasn't sure if she could stand another night without a warm shower.

When Akila got up to the bistro, she ordered a glass of water with a small sandwich. She kind of preferred coming to the bistro over the kitchen, simply because she felt powerful being able to boss monobear around. Of course, the monobear servers here still made her feel unsettled, but they seemed to be pretty docile. Or, rather, unresponsive. They seemed to only follow simple commands, actually.

Akila spent some time pondering over the mechanics of monobear until the monobear returned with her sandwich and water. She grabbed her food and made her way towards the balcony to see if the ice outside has melted yet- but before she got out there, she noticed Lorelai sitting near the window.

Akila pulled out a chair and sat down at Lorelai's table with her, giving her a small smile.

" Hey girl, are you alright?" she asks, raising her sandwich to her mouth.

The rooms on the new floor include:

Build-A-Monobear Workshop. Here you can create your very own cuddly stuffed Monobear, and dress them up in outfits of the previous students from the RMS Despair!

Bowling Alley. Who doesn’t love a good round of bowling? The alley has a total of ten lanes, bowling ball and shoe storage, and even a small snack bar in case you get hungry while playing.

Ballroom. Just what is sounds like, a large opulent ballroom, a more formal alternative to the fourth floor nightclub. The room includes several crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, a few sets of tables and chairs dotted along the very edge of the room, and a raised platform with grand piano, for the more musically inclined students to play if they wish.

Lorelai’s heels clacked against the marble floor as she skipped down the dorm halls, humming tunelessly and swinging her purse in one hand. Only a half hour or so had passed since the last class of the day had let out, but Lorelai had already returned to her dorm and changed out of her Hope’s Peak uniform and into street clothes, ready to relax and enjoy herself after a long day of classes. After a short walk from her own dorm, she quickly reached her destination - the dorm of one of her good friends at the school, Akila. Knocking sharply on the door several times, Lorelai chirped, “Akila! Are you there? It’s me, Lorelai!”

Lorelai had been anxious to go shopping ever since she had arrived in Japan, to see what the stores had to offer in comparison to the ones in her home city of Los Angeles. But there was no fun at all in shopping all by yourself! Lorelai wanted a shopping buddy to accompany her, and Akila seemed like the perfect candidate. Lorelai wasn’t quite sure if Akila had even come back to her dorm yet, but that was just as well. Lorelai was willing to wait, and if Akila took long enough, she could always text her instead.

Akila had been curled up on her bed reading a book assigned to her from her literature class. She didn't much like the book. In fact, she felt like she would fall asleep soon if she tried to continue reading. Akila rolled over onto her back as she let out a huge yawn and stretched her arms above her head as she lounged and pulled the quilt around herself a little tighter. Akila dozed off into a light cat nap, but she was awaken by a series of knocks at her door. She sat up and rubbed at her eyes, yawning as she slid her legs off the edge of the bed and stood up, leisurely making her way to the door. She still felt groggy, and she was wondering who it could be, but then she heard a familiar voice from the other side of the door.

Akila opened the door and grinned. " Hey girl! What's going on?" she asks as she leans against the door frame, a loose fist placed on her waist. Akila placed her other hand over her mouth as she let out another yawn before letting her arm drop again, a relaxed smile. She enjoyed Lorelai's company, and knowing her, she was probably here to ask to go do something. Akila would be up for hanging out with Lorelai for awhile- it'll be a lot more fun than reading that lame book.

Body Discovered

Ever since the new motive of a Winter Horrorland was released, tensions have been high. The unrelenting cold has been getting to people. No running water, no warm drinks- the students have been struggling just to keep themselves hydrated! On top of the drought and lack of personal hygiene, the students have been struggling with trying to stay warm and keep themselves protected from catching colds and influenza.

However, they couldn’t keep themselves protected from murder.

Josiah calmly walks into the castle’s lobby and calls out to the two closest people he sees to follow him- Tobias and Paris. He leads the two students to the Haunted Mansion, where the three of them discover the body of Matsuko Kimura, The SHSL Lolita.

"Ding dong! Attention, everyone! A body has been found! You have just a few hours before trial to gather as much evidence as you can! See you then!”

Water Park (Closed)

Lorelai nodded when Akila mentioned that Phi hadn’t been bothering her much. “That’s good; as long as she doesn’t suspect that we know anything we should be fine!” Lorelai’s mind briefly dwelled on the fact that she had mentioned that she had Phi’s secret during the trial, but maybe Phi hadn’t heard? Either that, or had forgotten about it, because she hadn’t spoken to Lorelai once since then. When Akila mentioned that she felt they should’ve exposed her during the last trial, Lorelai nodded and bit her lip. “It would’ve been really dangerous…”

"She could’ve killed other people, but…maybe it was an accident of some sort? Or maybe she felt bad about it?" Lorelai was trying to be optimistic about the whole situation, but it was hard. She sighed. "I don’t know, I guess we should just try to avoid her. And if you feel threatened, my door is always open!" She turned to Akila with a grin. "Come anytime you like."

Lorelai followed Akila’s gaze to the waterpark entry, and nodded eagerly. “Yeah, of course! Umm…" her gaze swept what they could see of the water park, taking in everything and wondering what ride would be best. Lorelai wasn’t easily scared by even the most massive of thrill rides, and water rides were no exception - the adrenaline rush was fun! While looking around, Lorelai noticed a huge, winding water slide, emptying into a small pool with a stack of two-person inner tubes for the ride.

Grabbing Akila’s hand, Lorelai pointed to the slide with her other hand. “Oh, hey, let’s go on that! We can ride it together!” Lorelai’s entire face was practically lit up with excitement, and she was already tugging on Akila’s hand to head towards the slide.

Akila looked past Lorelai over to the water slide she was indicating with her finger. It looked really huge, and pretty scary. Akila felt a little unsure about trying to go down it and she was about to insist on trying a smaller one first and working up to the bigger slides, but then she saw how excited Lorelai looked. Akila tilted her head a little and gave a nod and allowed herself to grin, despite being nervous.

" O-Oh! Yeah, we can ride that one if you want to!" and as soon as the words left her mouth, Lorelai was already tugging Akila towards the slide. Akila decided that even though she was kind of scared, it would be alright and after all, she is pretty open to trying new things. Akila wasn't the best swimmer around- in fact, she almost drowned more than once- but she decided that as long as she was with Lorelai, everything would probably turn up fine.

Soon, Lorelai didn't have to drag Akila along because Akila was matching her pace as they eagerly ran for the raft hooks to grab a dingy.

Akila held onto one side of the raft and looked up at the stairs they had to climb.

"Lorelai, do you want to go first and I'll follow you up, or do you want me to go first?" she asks, beginning to take a couple of steps backwards, closer to the concrete steps.

Akila sighed as she looked through her suitcase, trying to find the warmest outfit she could. She didn't have many warm clothes. Why would she need them? She lived in Egypt! Akila placed a full body leotard on her bed as she rifled through the rest of her wardrobe. Akila was able to locate a jacket with fur on the inside, and a pair of soft pajama pants. This would have to do.

Akila walked through the halls of the castle, blowing warm air into her hands and rubbing them for friction. As she walked, she tried not to pay attention to the eyes on the walls watching her. They were always there, but now she felt as if those eyes were silently mocking her pathetic outfit. As soon as she had the thought, she saw her reflection. She really did look pretty tacky. Who wears a full body leotard with pajama pants and a fur coat?

Akila sighed and continued on her way to the elevator so she could visit the bistro. She hadn't been there yet, and she was feeling pretty hungry. Akila reached out and pushed the call button with her thumb and then took a step back to wait for the elevator to arrive. As she waited, she briefly pondered over visiting the infirmary to look for vitamins or something that could prevent her from catching a cold. She was pretty susceptible to winter influenza and she absolutely hates catching colds.

"Ding!"

When Akila stepped forward to the elevator as the door opened, someone was already in there.
