((I found it a comic that describes Nagisi’s room))
“…Excuse me?”
Immediately stopping dead in her tracks, Byakuren turned to face Nagisi with gritted teeth and an intense glare–one that was all fire and no ice, quite unlike any look she had given him before. Just as he was done with her she was with him, and she would not tolerate this little magician’s attitude towards her. Not only had he dared to speak towards her in such a blunt, ever so slightly condescending manner, but he also had the gall to make assumptions about her, one of the things she loathed much. He had better be thankful he had kept his language to a minimum, lest he evoke her complete wrath…
Balling her hands into fists so that her nails pierced through her palms once more, her mouth opened and she began to speak, a waterfall of words flowing out that she had no dam to contain them with, her calm and collected demeanor disappearing completely. “Don’t you dare make assumptions about me like that. If you had actually tried to make educated conversation with me then I would have entertained you, but instead you had to joke around and refuse to take me seriously. How many times do you think I have to put up with that a day? If you’re going to treat me like a fool then I’ll do the same–I don’t just hand out respect to anyone. If you had tried to earn my respect I might have given it to you, but it seems as though it’s much too late for that. If you’d give me those papers I’ll carry them back myself, so I won’t be such a terrible inconvenience on you.”
Holy shit. Actually no, that’s not enough of an exclamation. This shit wasn’t just holy, this shit was actually a deity in and of itself, and was here to smite those that didn’t believe in the Flying Turdlord General Supreme. That should be enough of an exclamation. Holy Flying Turdlord General Supreme. Apparently he had hit every nerve simultaneously, and now she was going off and buzzing like a broken Operation Man. She was so mad that she apparently not only misinterpreted what he had just said, but also the past 10 minutes or so of conversation. At least the look wasn’t oo bad, he’d gotten worse from people far more important to him than Prissypants McStuckityuppity. Nagisi let out a long sigh as he looked her up and down; if he just responded with more snark, chances were she would become so livid that she would literally catch on fire. Let’s try rational explanation. The concerned magician placed his box of papers on the ground, leaning against a wall as he collected his thoughts.
“I never refused to take you seriously, and I never treated you like a fool. I treated you like an equal, and nothing less. The thing is, when people joke around, and don’t act seriously, it isn’t disrespect. As a matter of fact, it’s a sign of respect. It’s a sign that they want you to joke around with them because they value what you might say. I’m not saying that you should respect everyone, but you shouldn’t start getting to know someone by keeping them at the lowest point you can. If you go into a conversation already hating the other person, in what world will that turn out well? I don’t think this is an inconvenience, and I don’t think you’re a bad person. I just think that you’re way too closed off right now.”
“Not to mention that you keep saying ‘educated’ conversation, and you never defined it. I’m not stupid, chances are if you pick a topic I’ll keep up. I just don’t know if you want to talk business, or quantum physics, or advanced calculus, or whatever you think of as ‘educated’. I’m going to keep helping you with the box, because if those papers get mixed up I really will feel terrible, but I’d like you to try and at least act civil. I’ve been giving you the benefit of the doubt so far while I helped you, but someone less kind would have left both of those boxes up to you, or might not have let you use them at all, then you’d be up the creek without a paddle, so to speak. Is that alright with you?”
((Has anyone else ever tried Twitch streaming I mean man that’s a tough crowd.))
◆ for Noriko and Zeni :3c
((Just realized this is here))
For Noriko: “Interesting!””
For Zeni: “Nuts.”
Togami’s initial reaction was to be even angrier with this magician, but as he listened to his impromptu speech about equality, he found himself beginning to respect him a great deal more than he had before. He was right, that this school was a competitive environment, nearly the same way his family had been before. They were all the very best at what they did, so they were all equal, in a way…there really wasn’t a point in posturing like animals, was there? As much as he enjoyed being the top of the food chain, he also knew that he had already alienated enough people with his competitive nature; he didn’t need to add another, especially not someone brave and honest enough to rant like that to him.
“I suppose…I suppose we could manage a civil conversation, now that you’ve proven to be much more sensible than I expected. I’ve never run into a student who could go from flippant to serious as quickly as you just did…and perhaps it wasn’t entirely fair of me to use you as the victim of all my pent up rage. It may be possible to go so far as to have a pleasant conversation, if we’re careful. But that’s up to you as well. Do you think you can avoid the foul language for the rest of our discussion?”
You have got to be stirring my pasta. Nagisi rose a single eyebrow at the other’s response, honestly floored. Based on the other Togami he’d met, he’d expected to either be slapped or threatened with death. Apparently this one got all the personality and friendliness. It was about time he met someone with a decent personality. Nagisi swallowed the rest of his prepared speech and gave Togami a nod and a short bow. Now was the time for civility.
“That would be great, actually, and I’ll keep the language out. I don’t believe I’ve introduced myself, actually, so it would only be polite to. My name is Nagisi Konorona, the Super High School Level Magician. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Byaku-, er, you probably prefer Togami-kun, right? I’m sorry, I spent the first 15 years of my life in the United States, so the name conventions aren’t something I’m very used to. My suit and hat are in fact for doing magic, so the school allows me to wear them ‘as to not impede the progression of my talent’, as they put it.”
So Let Me Get This Strait [Open]
“I run it myself. Never worked for a newspaper in my life. Not even sure the newspapers in Liechtenstein would of ever been interested in my column to be honest. Specially since it’s an online advice column and I wouldn’t want to be part of a group pretending to be one columnist.”
Bland thought a bit before shaking his head.
“No I much prefer being in charge of the column by myself. Even if dealing with companies about ads and dealing with security systems gets annoying.”
“I’m sure you know what it’s like dealing with companies that try to get you to do things that you don’t want to do.”
Liechtenstein? That was certainly.... a country. Most definitely in Eur...Asia. Eurasia, that whole mess. Yup. Nagisi had to admit that he knew a fair bit about a fair number of countries, but Liechtenstein hadn’t really come up before. Wait, maybe that was the one country that got ruled by that one evil guy from that one comic or movie? Pop culture references are tough when you don’t know any pop culture. ANYWAYS Liechtenstein sounds made up and they were finally at his room. Nagisi excused himself for a moment as he ran into his room, nearly tripping on all the equipment he had on the ground. How much magic shit does one guy need? Grabbing the tote bag on his bed, Nagisi sped back out the door a few moments later.
“Well that certainly does sound familiar. I don’t associate with any companies or anything myself, instead I perform where I’m paid to. So long as I agree with it, you know? If someone’s doing shady things or I just don’t like them, I always have the ability to say no. My manager actually texted me earlier about my ‘brand’, but it can wait. Where would you like to practice? I’m good with most anywhere.”

Improvement Meme
I figured a small ‘improvement meme’ would be a fine idea for RPers looking to brush up their skills and topple weaknesses, so here it is. Feel free to use the symbols or go for a more in depth response. Yes, you can send any of these to me too.
☢: You need to work on character responses, they tend to be bland.
✄: Your RP responses are really short/ could have more effort put in!
Σ: You’re messing up your punctuation here and there.
▼: Try to improve your spelling/Grammar
☯: Try to open up to more RPers, you’re great, but you’re missing out on a lot of potentially amazing RPs!
▲: Try to be more positive on yourself, there’s no reason to hate on yourself so much.
☠: You need to be more respectful.
✈: You need to improve your action sequences or reactions of characters.
❤: You’re doing amazing, we can always improve but every RP I read of yours is a joy.
✉: Message more RPers and get some more activity going please.
Ⓐ: Fight scenes could use more work.
❥: Romantic Scenes can be awkward, do your best to improve on this, and look out for common pitfalls!
☁: You might want to take another look at your character/characters and work on them a bit more. Every great character has a flaw or two.
✪: Joker *Whatever you feel needs to be addressed*

((Have we interacted? I’m sorry if I forgot!))
“I like the way you smile” from Noriko ;3
“Haha, why thank you, you’re too kind!”
The pinkette wouldn’t tell him the truth about that right now. She feels herself growing closer to him, but Noriko was also close to that woman before that day. No words about it should be said.
“Huhuhu! I usually walk around the town having fun, either alone oR with some friends. When I have, like, nothing to do, I usually play with my electronic devices. You know, I really love them. I can even remember when daddy gave me one for the first time. I was so fascinated with that. It was almost like magic made real, no illusionism that time. It was true magic! Or so I thought, children believe anything, right? Huhuhu!”
Electronic devices was actually pretty vague. Did she mean like a phone, or a game system, or like a laptop? When it came to this girl there weren’t a lot of specifics, and she didn’t ask for a lot of specifics in return. Nagisi mulled over her words as he finished his pastry, trying to find the wording for his thoughts.
“Well, not all children are like that, but even if they are, I don’t mind. It’s nice to see a kid who still believes in magic, who still has those hopes that some people can make literally anything happen. In their naivety there is some comfort. I mean, some students who go here still believe in magic, which is a little strange, but even then it’s nice. They look at you like you have the world in your hands, and it’s kinda sweet, you know?”

“Delicate.” But in the kindest way.
