Itās like. If she mentioned her story to others, they wouldnāt believe her, while the other provided someone who did believe her. Which was a first really. Which has allowed the girl to feel more comfortable with the whole idea of it.āIs there anything holding you back from this? If youāre fine with me asking.ā
"I'm not to aware when it comes to such things." And when she did try, she wasn't certain it worked. But, that didn't really stop her from continuing to be helpful. "Knowing that I've helped you in some way...it really does make me happy. I never knew I could affect people that much." The programmer smiled, the other girl's smile was almost contagious.
"Anything holding me back...?" Was something stopping her? Chiaki couldn't think that something was holding her back, not at the moment. She shook her head. "I don't mind the question, but I don't believe I am being held down."
"Good day to you there." The young blonde waved. "My name is Ventus, Ven for short. What's yours?"
A stranger? Well, a polite one it seemed, already introducing himself, which meant the girl should do the same. āMy name is Chiaki. Its nice to meet you, Venā¦are you from this area?ā
"Yeaā¦I need to head in to get things going to get myself situated." Ā Ventus says as he looked to the school. Ā "Maybe later on weāll be able to meet up againā¦maybe at lunch time?" Ā He asked, as he was pretty sure that heāll be done with whatever he needed to do for the time being, and then start up on classes coming next day.
"That is fine with me. I can wait outside the school for you and if youād like, we can head into the cafeteria. I do not think the teachers would mind for an upcoming student to see the schoolās interior." Well now she had a reason to stay awake during lunch time to. Thankfully there was nothing to be done during lunch except eat. "Would you be alright with that?"

"Thereās blood."
"Whatā¦." It was the first time for Doopliss to see a pile of blood. "ā¦.Thereās blood." Even though the Duplighost seemed to have evil intentions with his pranks, those were just that. Pranks. Nothing potentially deadlyā¦. For the first time in a long timeā¦he was scared.
"Well they can steal their body back if they themselves knock me out, and to be honest, that happens many times before. Quite annoying really. Just when Iād find a new life for me, I end up back in that Duplighost form."
"Oh. That sounds better for the other person. If they want to get their identity back...but it sounds fun to try different lives out. Even though I don't really agree with the method..."
He looked at her and smiled lightly āYeahā¦L-Letsā
"Yes, lets...do you have any place you'd like to go?" She asked, wanting him to get some matter in this decision.

"Good day to you there." The young blonde waved. "My name is Ventus, Ven for short. What's yours?"

Ventus was glad to hear that she was eager to become friends. Ā He didnt know if it was his talent at work, or just him being him, but he figured that heād be a good friend to Chiaki, and hoped to do so with others in the school.
"Heh, Im glad to hear that Chiaki. Ā I do hope weāll be good friends along the way, and maybe weāll have fun along the way." Ā Ventus says as he beamed at the idea. Ā "I just hope Im not keeping you from doing anything though. Ā It does seem like the next class is going to start in a bit."
Chiaki was looking forward to his presence at school, not only for him being a new student, but also for being a friend. She felt a little lucky to speak with him before he actually entered the classroom. At least he would feel comfortable knowing someone there. āSame hereā¦ā
"Hm?" Ah, she almost forgot about heading off to class herself! Though there was a chance she'd end up taking a nap and sleeping through half of it, the programmer still wanted to be a responsible student. "The class hasn't started yet, but...I suppose I should get going soon. It was really nice talking with you, Ven."

"Yep, It is possible, Slick. I just turn you into an unrecognizable shadow of yourself and just take your name for myself." He paused. "Iād do it to steal a personās attention or fame if I wanted."
āI suppose it would be good if the person was pretty unique...but does such a thing last forever?" She wondered if he would take her form permanently if he knew about her being talented, though she didn't seem all that scared of the idea.
"Stillā¦I-I felt kinda badā¦"
"You shouldn't...come on, lets go and just enjoy ourselves, yes?"
"Mmhmm. Back then after those whole events, I really struggled to realize that, as I wasnāt exactly wanting to head out to places, I was pretty much alone, no father, no one there all the time to cuddle me into bed, nothing. Just me and me. Yeah, I had my friend visiting from time to time, but that was all."The girl nodded.
"Thatās why Iāve taken life to the fullest lately, helping people as much as I can, making close friends, which I feel youāre one which Iāve mentioned before. Rather than sitting alone all day, well I guess after what happened, I lost my confidence a bit, kinda shy of putting my faith and trust into another. But lately, now that Iāve picked myself up, I can say that I can once again, place my faith and trust into others."
"Just like how I am now. I wouldnāt tell any random person the story, to them Iāve lived there for centuries."Ā
"Its nice to see you have hope and look forward to such things. I wish that I could be kind of like that...it could influence others in a positive way..." Encourage others to get over their troubles and to look on the bright side. Though, she could already do something like this, its not like she was aware of it. One day she'd realize just what she could do.Ā
"I'm glad to hear that you can trust me. I won't do anything as cruel as that to another person...and if thats something you don't wish to tell to others, I promise not to." The programmer didn't want to go on about someone else's personal story, especially not one like this. Thinking about it, she's not to sure if someone else would believe a tale like that in the first place...
The girl was always caring, she smiled even more at the thank you she received āYes, even for you, not to sound mean at all, but Iāve met some characters that come to this place, from weird looking things, to a general human. I guess some Iād like to keep in contact with, take it just taking a general interest in another. Even if the convocations are small and sometimes meaningless.ā
The girl then back to the next bit.āā¦Yeah, long story shot, I took pity on a suffering witch, I wanted to at least try to make her last moments memorable. So she could die happy, so I offered to switch bodies for the day, which she decided later on to physically destroy her body in a number of ways and then switching. She would have ran of with my body if I didnāt use the last bit of magic her body had to trap her here. But it all failed, in the end I had my own f-f-ather shoot me dead, and had a demon eat my soul. Iām only back because after rotting in hell or four years, you tend to get filled with nothing but hatred and revenge, so I was revived by another demon, only to find my āfriendā aka the witch has changed, she had regretted her doings, and so I forgave her.ā
"I guess not everyone who appears here is human?" Well, if she had managed to come in contact with supernatural beings, there had to be some possibility that other beings were around or attracted to this place. "Its better to continue to know people, right? And not want to end up lonely..."
The girl seemed to just have a sad look on her face upon hearing her story. It didn't sound real, rather something she'd read out of a book. Yet, it was all true and had happened. Chiaki believed her words, why would she lie about something like this? "I see...I apologize for what happened. But...at least you are back on this Earth once again, right? And still managing to continue life."

"Humā¦.I hope so." Ā Ventus says, as he could hear a bit of sincerity in her words. Ā She must know a bit about the school herself, and just being new here, he should take her words to heart. Ā After allā¦going to a new school was just part of life, and maybe new friends would be waiting for him inside.
"Your right on that Chiaki. Ā Maybe I shouldnt be so intimidated by the looks, but rather, be proud I even made it to this school." Ā He started to say, as he looked to her. Ā "I guess Im pretty lucky to be here too. Ā Hopefully weād be friends when I start classes coming next week and suchā¦thatās if you wish to."
She was certain he would, thats how most of the other students seemed to be at first, well from the ones she noticed. Chiaki believed he would adjust easily, especially with a friendly talent as his.
To the sound of being friends, she was truly happy. She could confirm that with him her and now and build up on it later. Though, there was that other term before becoming friends, acquaintances, was it? Either way, she would love to have another friend in this school. "Of course. I'd love to. I'd be really happy to be your friend, Ven. I hope I can be a great friend to you in return."

So if Iām the first unicorn youāve ever come across, Iām gonna figure that you havenāt been here longer.
*The mare looked down to the ground with a somber expression. This girlā¦ Chiaki Nanami, She certainly didnāt seem like the type who would last even a day out in the wasteland. Every moment she was out here, she was in danger* Iāll be honest with you hereā¦Ā Where you are now is the last place anyone would want to end up inā¦ Itās not safe hereā¦ Probably not safe anywhere else eitherā¦
"No, I haven't..." She wasn't sure what was going on here and she certainly hadn't expected to see any unicorns in a place like this. Still, even she didn't like seeing the other being so down.Ā
"Really? If its not safe anywhere, how do you manage? I'm not accustomed to this kind of setting...but if needed, I can try to survive." To the best that she can. Though her survival skills are low, she's determined to live.

"It caaan be useful. Though I could completely steal your complete identity if I so wanted. I donāt do that anymore so no need to worry slick!"
"Thats possible?" It didn't sound like it was. But here he was already looking like a perfect clone. "Why would you want to steal my identity anyway, if you did continue to do such a thing?"
"Well, thatās a start. It sounds like a good idea to me, so I think you can keep on doing what youāve already done. Iām sure that if I asked you for help, I would understand what youāre talking about."
"Yes...I think my explanations can be proper, as long as I know the words to use based on the level of the other's knowledge. But, I do have some more confidence now, thank you."
