It’s been three weeks that you’ve gone without food, Monday was a blessing since Monobear decided to give everyone some chips, but now there’s nothing again.

You take a walk through Green Playground, hoping that maybe there will be some food laying around. But a body in an alley catches your eye. Did someone finally faint from lack of food? You approach it to make sure it’s still alive, but you did not expect it to be dead. At least, not with visible marks.

This is almost as bad as the last few bodies…

"Ping pong pang pon! Students, a dead body has been found! Investigation will commence for the next 6 hours! Upupu, see you at the school trial!"

"The name is Shizuka Inoue~! And this is Kakeru." She pointed at the monkey in her shirt collar.

"Actually I’m not! I’ve been at this school for a while now, I just kinda…disappeared for a bit ahaha." Kakeru made more monkey noises in reaction to the giggle and leaned towards Faye. "Oh yeah! He really likes people!"

"Faye is a  nice name, but from your last name I take it you’re not from Japan?" She tilted her head."

"Oh gosh, Kakeru is super adorable!" Faye seemed to be completely amazed by the small monkey, making a small gesture to ask for permission to hold the creature. "Oh, may I hold him please?"

"Hmm?" She nodded a little. "You’re totally correct, I’m not Japanese at all - I’m actually from France!"
