[ i feel really guilty and awkward if i try to reply to any old rps i left hanging so uh... is there anyone whoĀ really wants me to get back to old threads or wants me to rp with them specifically?? if not, i'll just make an open or some follower gain starter or something shrugs ]
[ w o w f uc k sorry i've been gone for a while but i've been a little exhausted and i've also recently been admitted into a group so WHOOPS ]
Calling from BS Industries to tell you, no, I don't make stars. I'm not some kind of big hot-shot in the film industry or some magician. At least, I didn't get the memo that I was.
"ā¦! Am I being bullied? Oh no." She said; her lips forming a small frown. "Iām not trying to be a star- honest! Iām just curious about the moviesā¦"Ā
"ā¦"
What did she want to know about first? To be entirely honest, Natsume didnāt expect to get this far into the conversation. She mulled it over for a moment, tapping a manicured finger to her chin.Ā
"The beginning." She finally said with a nod. "Iād like to know how you find inspiration for movies; the motivation that prompts you and flickers the mental light bulb."
Strangely enthusiastic (well... at least he sounded like he was putting more effort into it now as opposed to being monotonous), he was liberal with his explanation.
"When I was young and full of hope, I aspired to make my mark. It is only when you're a beginner that you get that... 'spark' many crave. It is onlyĀ then you're not tainted, and only then you're not with holes in your shoe," he started.
"A young script reader once told me to write from my experience... and I guess that's what a lot of people do-- take a trip down Memory Lane in the hopes something just clicks. Take a look at all the 'lanes' though-- breathe in,Ā see everything running around you. Sometimes things just happen and blow you away. Script writing follows a strict format, but the beginning is always different. It's kind of like how making life isn't always going to be the same experience... maybe."
"Now... let's assume you're past that sweet state of ignorance and bliss. Things start taking a turn for the worse, and the difficulty level has suddenly gone out of whack," he continued, his tone growing dark but keeping its light airiness to it.
"From there, you've entered a screenwriter's hell of pandering to a shallow majority audience who no longer wants moving... They wantĀ glamour and youĀ know it. You realize they're your life support and so is any director, and frankly, you sell out. It happens. Otherwise you're gambling in a casino that you've got no chance in."
"Well you're a new person. Just dropping by and saying hey. Don't get used to it though, kid."
"Well, youāre in luck then. I didnāt plan on it. You can leave me in the dust, just donāt expect anything from me and weāve got a deal."
"Hell, I could tell you where you went from on that: you donāt research baseball, kid. You learn from playing it."
"You'd probably say that aboutĀ any sport, but yes, learning as you go is a valid method. Then again, it sounds like if I was perfectly content with learning how to dodge as I was getting chased down and pelted.Ā
"Probably not the best time to try."
Well, gee, wasnāt heĀ friendly? Crossing her arms, she raised an eyebrow at the stranger. āAre you looking for information of some kind, then?ā
"I'd sayĀ yes, but then I'd be lying unnecessarily. At least, I'm not actively hunting for it. If it's pitched my way, I'll catch it-- no more than that.
"I'm looking for what anyone seems to be these days-- identity. my identity has been found and worn-out long ago, so no use bothering with that. A description's helpful to know what I'm getting into exactly though."
"Nonsense! A proper greeting would involve the exchange of names in a polite and formal manner. Allow me to begin: My name is Umeko Miyamoto, Iām a Super High-School Level Class Representative."
Umeko laughed a bit to herself and allowed her vermillion gaze to catch that of the male standing across from her. She tilted her head and offered another smile, this one however being a little more secretly sinister than the first one.Ā
"Please make sure that you greet others properly in the future! Hehe!"
He should have figured. Sighing, he reluctantly went along with it.
"Mashita. Kaito Mashita-- Super High-School Level Screenwriter. I dabble in movies usually.
That satisfactory or shall I lay out all the required information in a specific format?"
"A pleasure Kanbento Mystery-xiansheng. I am Lin Fang Gan, Pop sensation of China."
Brushing aside any alterations of his name, it only brought him to a more troublesome situation: How in the world was he supposed to address this guy? He supposed this was why he was unlucky with foreigners.
"Pop sensation? It any different over there as opposed to our sickeningly, squeaky clean idols?"
[ wOAH THERE ]
shsldanceprincess:
"Natsume-senpai is stopping by to say- Happy Easter! She even brought you a cute egg."
"ā¦Uh⦠Thanks? I guess."
He hesitantly accepts it in disbelief. Why theĀ fuck is this girl dressed up for this? Was this even necessary?
It probably wasnāt.
shsl-prima-donna replied to your post:[ iād apply to that girls only group but iām kinda...
Ooh, Iām curious about your female OCs! O:
shsltrithreat replied to your post:[ ok i lied i canāt come up with 18 different...
take all the urls and delink them, then put @ in the front of it and itāll say ā___ has mentioned you in a post!ā. if you just want to do one uvu hope this helps!!
[ holy shit i totally forgot about that feature thanks! ]
[ i'd apply to that girls only group but i'm kinda being selective with which groups i wanna apply to since i want to apply with a friend to a place...
and i've never really had experience rping female ocs tbh ]
[ ok i lied i can't come up with 18 different starters and it's not like all of these tags can be tracked anyway cause hyphens ]

For the most part, this group screamed less...Ā cartoony and more mundane. However, he knew that if he thought that, it wasĀ probably the exact opposite. God damn jinxing himself.
Taking in a deep breath, he carried on.
"I suppose out of social obligations, this is the moment I greet your presence with your average greeting. However, I just gave you a sufficient greeting with that alone. Funny how that all works out."

More strange looking people-- except perhaps for one person. Still, he was going to keep his guard anyway. At this point he had no idea what to expect from any group of students attending this circus.
"I'll keep my introduction short: Kaito Mashita-- Screenwriter."
