omg this was my exact week.
We’ve been on a long weekend vacation. Today we leave and I decided to check my work emails so I wouldn’t wonder all day what fresh hell was waiting in my inbox.
And every message was awesome! People doing stuff! Great projects moving forward! People interested in working with me on things! Jazzed to go back to work now.
I wonder if AI will eventually step in to just repress your angst-inducing emails so you can be happy after vaca.
Me Previously: I’m going to be really careful about which work people I befriend on social media.
Me Now: All of the people who live in the municipality I work for are in each other’s comments and sending each other NUMTOT memes.
I’m about as good a friend as Phoebe when I’m dealing with my friends’ romantic challenges.
My neighbors are *screaming* at each other again, telling each other hysterically to move out, punching the walls over and over.
Over here we just got home from a perfect weekend with family, my landlord helped me with my gardening and my other landlord came down to see if she could make us dinner.
Has nothing to do with me but I’m feeling low-key guilty. How did we get so damn lucky?
