I just finished playing Dispatch and I feel like I’m going crazy because I’m 100% sure Waterboy is an awful character and I’m shocked that he’s a somewhat beloved character, atleast from what I’m seeing. The guy is clearly manipulative and malicious. He’s been dropping passive-aggressive remarks since Chapter 2. These types of characters are so awful because you can’t even call them out on their bs without immediately being labeled as cruel.

Flambae got bullied multiple times in one chapter and somehow came out looking like the “bad” guy. Mind you, Flambae’s explanation was sound and logical. The outburst was insensitive, but he’s a fucking criminal. Other characters had worse outbursts over less, yet he got punished and humiliated just because he got pissed that his lunch was thrown away.

I’d even argue that the small convo about who’s the most bullyable, with Robert claiming it’s him is false. If you tally everything that happened, it's Flambae. I'm guessing the reason people don’t see him as "bullied" is because of his abrasive personality but who decided bullying only happens to meek characters?

Characters like Waterboy are so infuriating because there’s basically nothing you can do besides staying as far away from them as possible. They're the kind of people Chase described in episode 6, Black Holes. Then you add his other suspicious actions, I think the guy’s a hidden villain.

Now that I’m writing my thoughts about him, I’m realizing the story dropped a lot of hints. Blonde Blazer’s comment about him and Phenomaman being a great addition to the team because they’re “actual” good people stands out a lot lol. The story is also clearly pushing the players to pick WATERboy to join the PHOENIX program, with a team comprised entirely with supervillains.

If I had one complaint about One Piece (besides Toei's treatment of Sanji)...is the fact that no one in the crew outside of Sanji, Brook, and Robin has any idea of what Zoro did to save Luffy from Kuma.

Like, from there to Sabaody, Zoro has been suffering from the consciences of his sacrifice. How is it that no one seems to think any further on how odd it is that Luffy is fine and energetic while Zoro is grieviously injured and comatose (and, again, still dealing with the ramifications later). The angst potential...

I wonder...if this might change in OPLA, if we do get Thriller Bark. After all, this version of Luffy is more intelligent and observant. He might be able to put two and two together that his lack of fatigue and injury is connected to Zoro's wounds and comatose state. Same with everyone else. They might start seeing it too...

This could develop an underlining tension amongst the crew. Luffy knows something happened, but doesn't want to confront Zoro about it, wanting Zoro to come to him. But, as time goes on, Luffy does get a little frustrated that Zoro hadn't come to him yet, causing a bigger tension between the two...

But wouldn't that be a betrayal to Luffy? Luffy never shared or talked about his pain. Not once did Luffy ever blame them. Talking about it would only put a burden on the crew. Zoro is suffering from Luffy's pain and fatigue. If we put it the other way around, would Zoro ask why Luffy did it? Why he chose to sacrifice himself? And then what, start listing their sacrifices for the crew?

Zoro and the people who knew never talked about it because they didn't need to. There's already a mutual understanding there. It's enough that they knew Zoro would go to those lengths to protect them, the same way Luffy does and now they too would try to do the same.

Since Zoro and Nami are already living in the house together, I thought making Sanji closer to either of them could work. Zoro, the great guy that he is, tried to introduce them to make them closer but I don’t know if the topic of “appreciating women” was the problem or if I was just unlucky.

When Nami said her usual line about reading the rule book every night, Sanji disagreed with following any rule book. Okay bro...

Zoro tried to salvage the situation by saying that Nami is researching new ways of “appreciating women” and Sanji just replied that it would be better if there were no rules so he could do whatever he wants.

A few minutes later, Nami tried to get closer to Sanji again and I thought maybe it wasn’t the topic and the game just wasn’t on my side that time but Sanji proved me wrong.

He refused the friendship because he wants to “appreciate women” by himself. He said he wants to do it alone.

There’s this weird thing happening on YouTube after the release of OPLA where people are glazing it and putting it on a pedestal as the champion of “Hollywood anti-wokeness.” They’re saying it’s successful because it doesn’t push an agenda or whatever. From what I’ve seen, a lot of these channels usually revolve around content that’s borderline red-pill, anti-woke, right-wing or just straight up grifting.

Why are they latching onto One Piece? It makes no sense. I’m 100% sure most of them have only seen OPLA because calling the series that completely ignores what it actually stands for.

Are they being paid or is something else going on? Why are they praising One Piece for not being woke? When characters like Bon Clay show up next season, are they suddenly going to flip and start calling it woke? Like wtf?

This whole thing is just bizarre...

How do we know Crocodile is not Roger’s biological brother?

We are too focused on Crocomom, like we once were when we thought Luffy was related to Roger and might be his son but it turned out to be a soft misdirection.

I think Crocodile’s secret is that he was Roger’s younger brother and Iva helped him alter his appearance both to hide his identity and to avoid the purge. That would explain why he helped and saved Ace and Luffy in Marineford. That could also explain why he holds a grudge toward Whitebeard. Maybe he expected Whitebeard to save Roger during his execution or he believed the propaganda that they were rivals.

That could be why we only see the back of his head during the flashback of Roger’s execution because he was crying. That could also explain why he is so cynical. The person he looked up to, his cheerful and carefree older brother, was killed by the World Government.

That could also be why Luffy gets under his skin because he reminds him too much of his "naive" and idealistic brother who is now dead.
