When trans people headcanon characters as trans or autistic people headcanon characters as autistic etc people are always like “stop inserting yourself into characters!! Stop acting like you need to make them all like you!!” Like honestly stop having double standards literally everyone projects themselves onto their favorite characters. Everyone. If you have a favorite character you are going to want to imagine that they are like you.

It’s just bullshit way of saying “I don’t want these characters to be like you” and that’s already petty as hell because other people’s headcanons are not hurting you and you have no reason to agree that a character is trans or autistic or bi or whatever but it’s also transparently bigoted considering they don’t say this to people whose headcanons for characters aren’t marginalized identities. They don’t say that when a white person headcanons a character white. They don’t say that when a straight person headcanons a character as straight.

Everyone projects themselves onto fictional characters and everyone likes to imagine their favorite characters are like them ur not fooling anyone with this shitty argument

i feel like some people in this fandom have a god complex over the show and try making it theirs when it’s open for others to enjoy as well? not everybody has to have the same thoughts on characters and ships as others do. one of the main things that makes this fandom bad are the people who try to shut down people who have headcanons/different thoughts.

friendly reminder tadase is only a kid and still gets hate in this fandom because amu and him were the go to pairing. reminder people like to be judgmental and call him tadagay because he’s more feminine than ikuto. reminder tadase has done nothing wrong to amu ever besides the one time he thought he liked only amulet heart but later on he said himself he liked amu for who she really was and not just her chara. but no, ikuto is the victim in this fandom somehow.

Anybody who still believes Nagi is cis.. There’s multiple ways of looking at it. The most possible situation is even if he dressed up as Nade for family reasons, it still had to take a toll on him, and Nade has become one with him which does mean he has two sides to him. Yes, most people probably think he is just in “drag” or he is cross dressing, but I think Nade goes more deeper for him than just being a costume. With him having to be her for such long periods of time, just think about it.

I hope answering this in English is alright. The anime has a number of 127 episodes split into three seasons. (The main story is really in the first two seasons, so if you only wanted that it would be 102 episodes.) The best place to watch imo would be Crunchyroll. Thank you for asking!

That seems to be the case. It’s come to the point where it’s much better for me to not run this blog and have a much more clear mind, than getting caught up in petty stuff that happens in this fandom. That would ruin the show for myself even more. And running this blog for well over three years is of course gonna take something out of me. That might be a disappointing answer but it’s the way it is.
