I think that was an attempt to quiet the hate for p 💟💟💟 posting with her to show they are friends. He’s never going to comment on rumors or put out a statement but I take that as a purposeful cover picture for his post. Also if you look at f1gossippx (ew ik) on twt they took a lil stroll last night with the dog all 3
Yeah I really think so too. Like let’s put the rpf hat on the shelf for a bit and look at it from a real angle. It’s not like they don’t know what’s been going on online and unfortunately what the public perception of P is within certain parts of the fandom. And obviously it’s insane and deranged how bad it’s gotten. And I’ve been saying the same that Lando will never be able to like put out a statement about it to fix it, I don’t think it’d go down very well and I don’t think it’s fix things. But this was the next best thing, just covertly showing that hey we’re all cool and friends and like they know each other whereas ppl online don’t. And it’s so kind from Lando too to do that, I think it’s the first time he’s properly posted P on Instagram like that as far as I remember.
I really do hope it’s having its intended effect, I’ve been busy touching grass among other things so I haven’t seen much of what’s happening on deeper levels of the landonet but yeah. I hope it’ll now get better <3 P really doesn’t deserve the horrid torment that’s been going on online recently :(

Ykw I’m going to elaborate. So that’s a cap from Augusta National golf course, which as far as I know is highly exclusive and Max has never gone there. Everything he owns that has the Augusta logo on it are straight up gifts from Lando or Lando’s stuff Max has rehomed. This includes the green Augusta cap Max sometimes wears!
So, this cap is either;
Lando’s cap. Lando wears it and it’s his. And then Max borrowed it because that’s just what they do.
Max’s cap, either a direct gift from Lando or something of Lando’s that just became his and is now his.
They have matching caps, which Lando got them.
And all three options are, well, quite insane and quintessentially nortrell to me. This of course elaborates onto different implications with Lando wearing it on a night out:
Max borrowing something of Lando’s he was out and about in, reminding that he’s his. Mind you, it smells like party Lando.

Okay. I’m sat down at the steps of a cathedral so I feel like this is the right place to take the nortrell(ao) marbles spinning around in my head and ponder them into words.
So the version of nortrellao that compels me the most is the version where Max has a girlfriend and a boyfriend. And what connects P and Lando to one another is the mutual shared caring and love towards Max, and what makes them click and vibe the most is exactly that, the mutual interest in Max.
It’s Lando sharing his material possessions be they physical or virtual with Max with no strings attached or questions asked; of course it’s yours too. It’s Lando taking care of Max in the grand level of everything Quadrant and supporting him in his covert ways, like encouraging subs to his twitch by reading them out himself. It’s making memories with him for himself and for Max, both out of genuine care and wanting to do these things for him, but also as a thank you for everything Max does for him as well.
It’s P being the full-time partner, the one Max shares his life with in the traditional sense of a relationship. It’s romantic love and devotion, care and commitment. I don’t think I need to elaborate on this more lol
But then there’s the combination of the two. The teasing Max together, banding up against him in a lighthearted and banter-y way. It’s the deep deep deep understanding of Max, which Lando has gathered from over a decade of friendship and a highly codependent era in their adulthood, and P through being in a relationship with him.
Max is SO cared for by the two, and that connects them to each other as well in such a beautifully special way. Both of them knew Max hadn’t handled the taxi from Monaco to the airport, both did it for him as an act of care and kindness, and Max could just sit by and be cared for. Up until Lando forfeited his act of kindness because he must’ve thought there was a double booking, so he let his thing go for it to be P who got to do it for Max. There could be some bittersweetness written into here, where Lando is disheartened by the realisation he’ll always be a step behind P. But honestly? The main thing for them is that Max is cared for, and as long as P and Lando work together, that’s ensured.
It’s funny how the public discourse is that Max is somehow in the cuck chair of the situation. Intellectuals know he is the centre of P and Lando’s world.
(Yes in recent times the setting has started to look more and more like a complete triangle with the mutual flirtiness of P and Lando’s and that’s an incredible concept to explore too, but that’s a thought for another day)

Monaco Lando dnf can’t hurt me I literally went on a sightseeing river cruise in the most beautiful views and a proper wine tour and tasting and saw amazing street performers and had dinner all on my own because I’m a strong independent woman and I’m finally growing into a healthy independence instead of the bad isolation kind

Silver lining of Monaco dnf is that he gets to go home and cuddle with max :3 (their version of cuddling is Lando being perched up on Max’s shoulder while Max games on his PC wearing his skins, but also just regular literal cuddling too bc he deserves it)

I’m guessing max went to Barcelona for the car thing on Valentine’s Day. I know you thought he went while on the trip to Portugal but in his TikTok he started the day in his London elevator and was filming the car in the same outfit so he flew there from London. Not as fun as a 24 hour trip to Bahrain but much more likely 😂 and he definitely didn’t do the sponsor car trip on the boys golf week.
See the thing is, the outfit confused me too. But! He is a sneaky bastard and could fabricate the fit to seem like he flew from London. BECAUSE! The CUPRA reveal was on the 9th of APRIL! I just don’t see a way where CUPRA would have that space set up almost two months in advanced for an influencer marketing day… he might’ve filmed the elevator clip afterwards just to make the video longer LMAO I also am too attached to the idea of Max going to Bahrain for vday that unfortunately I’m not ready to let that go😭 let me be in my peaceful nortrell happyland pwease🥺
