lxghtsoff replied to your post:so yeh, the new account thing is happening cause...
wait, you’re making a new account?? Does that mean you’ll be dropping threads?
yeah, a new account cause this one is a mess and it causes muse to lack cause ashton gets quite obsessive and anxious. but no, i'll not drop threads, i'll just follow everyone i follow here over there, and move drafts.
so yeh, the new account thing is happening cause this one feels all over the place. so i'll work on that.
wanting things with people, but not sure if they would want a thing with you. sigh.
"Thanks, again," she said, watching him hold all her things. While she was pampered at work, she certainly wasn’t used to chivalry like this. For some reason, Azra hadn’t initially noticed Ashton’s height, and as he spoke now, all she could focus on other than his words was how he towered over her. "She sounds amazing, yeah…" Her voice trailed off as she reflected; Azra never knew her mother, so really any mother figure staying in their child’s life sounded good. Of course, with the way Ashton described her, she seemed so much better than that.Â
When Ashton made eye contact, Azra was snapped out of her thoughts, and she blinked a few times before nodding, curls bouncing once again. "Mm, I think i’ll just stick to that one," she said, stepping in and pointing to the can in the basket that she had previously dropped. "I didn’t get to smell it, but i don’t want to keep you, y’know?" After all, Azra had already entertained Ashton’s attention for far longer than he probably needed.
He was confused once again. The way the other seemed to listen so intently to the way he spoke about his mother, hanging onto every single word he rasped pulled at his heart. He began to wonder if the other had a mother, had a mother figure in their life. By the few hints here and there he got from the other's words, it was becoming clear that they were different. Different was okay, Different was unique. But even different had parents. "Mum is amazing." And his voice grew soft, as a few memories flashed behind his green eyes, causing his muscles to tense. "S-She's amazing." He settles one more time, giving a curt nod. But he's soon shaking his head needing those thoughts out of his head, before he begins to shake and send himself into an anxiety attack. Ashton smiled politely, giving a small shrug of his shoulders. "You're not keeping me. Honestly, I needed out of the house for  bit. I love Maia, but all that crying with get to you. I'm just lucky my Mum is there to help with her, so I am able to grab a few moments to myself if I need." He may seem like he's got it all together on the outside, but truly he was a mess. He wasn't sleeping, Maia keeping him up during the night most nights and his mind plagued with memories as it was close to the holiday. Then there was the break up, having to go through the pain of loosing his girlfriend who he thought he loved, but they obviously shared different views when it came to their daughter. Which lift him as a single father and her as a single woman, able to do what she pleased.
Mia smiled when she heard him hum and watched his eyes shut. “It is, huh?” She grinned and nudged his nose with hers. “Well, we’ll give you a really nice rush.” The tiny blonde started giggling. “And we still had an hour to go!” She poked his sides. “Stopped me from cumming. Should’ve just done it myself. Feet on the dash and everything.” Mia pouted up at him and rested her forehead against his and she just rested her head on the pillows before pressing her face against them. “I know, baby. I don’t expect you to be…” She brushed her fingertips against Ashton’s lips. Her mum would take over cookies and things to the house, but she never allowed Mia to go with her. Nor Amelia. Just her or her and her husband. Now, now Mia understood and she kissed his lips. “I love you. We’ll try and make this a really good one. Especially with Lexi and the whole family.” The young woman buried her face in the crook of his neck. Her fingers curled into the blankets to pull the blankets up a little more. “It doesn’t really snow. It’s too warm…” She chuckled and rubbed her eyes.
The man pulled in his brows shaking his head. "You know if you had done that, I would have found a way to tie your hands behind your back." There's other purposes for a belt, of course. Ashton smiled fondly at Mia, leaning forward, more into her. The holiday never served great memories for the young man, but he knew that he couldn't let that get to him every time the holiday came around. He needed to start traditions of his own and remember that now he had Lexi and new - happy memories will be coming. "It'll be good." He murmured, pressing his face to her hair and breathing in deep. The time they were apart he spent mostly drunk, his nights mostly spent in the company of a woman he couldn't remember the name of. He wanted to be numb to take the pain away of missing her and now, everything was coming back and that pain was still there, heart ache of those missed nights with her, those missed kisses and cuddles, because he never allowed himself to feel it before. "Not a fan of snow anyways." He mumbled, giving  small shrug.
the day had gone on rather quickly & mathias’ family had already had christmas     lunch together which mean she had a little gap for her to return home for a bit &     change clothes for dinner. after taking a quick shower & changing into her dinner     wear, there was something going on the entire time. mathias could hear the baby     next door literally scream on top of their lungs. she couldn’t help herself from     knocking on her neighbors door, bouncing on her heels as she waited.
his christmas didn't consist of much. he'd purchased a few things for his son, but the infant was to young to truly understand and cried through the whole thing. honestly, that was all the one month old seemed to do, day or night, after ashton would feed him, change him. nothing worked. he was tired as was the baby and it was clear they both needed sleep. the knock at the door started him, not expecting anyone and he lazily moved to the door with his son screaming his lungs off held to his chest. brows furrowed when he spotted the other and ashton shushed the baby, doing a half bounce before opening his mouth to actually acknowledge the other. "hello?" his voice is a mere rasp, throat raw and voice strained, a sign of the exhaustion as well as the bag beneath his eyes.Â
Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun; not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul.
