update for those who still give a shit about me under cut~

SO.... i meant to do this way sooner, but better late than never. so my mental health has been actual trash all this year. turns out it wasn’t just my major depression. turns out i have a new disorder! oh joy. it’s premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which is basically PMS x5. it exacerbated my already present depression and anxiety, to the point where i could barely function for a week or more. looking back, i realized that it has been the catalyst for many of my depressive/suicidal episodes in the past year or two (including the slash on my wrist) which we think is when it developed.

now that i’ve been diagnosed, a lot of things have started making sense. including---wait for it--- THE REASON WHY I COULD NEVER BE CONSISTENTLY ACTIVE HERE! because every month i would feel like utter shit for a week, which often extended past that. i also know it’s contributed to my not graduating on time, which is just lovely. not only does my brain hate me, but my uterus does too! very fun. anyway, with different birth control and new meds and getting more therapy, i think i’m gradually getting better. fingers crossed.

as for my presence here... idk. i love y’all, but my mental health is still shaky and i know i wouldn’t be a good rp partner as long as that’s the case. plus the anxiety and negativity of this site can get to me sometimes. if i’m being honest, i haven’t felt an urge to return and i think i probably won’t. but who knows, maybe in a couple months i’ll not be miserable for once and want to come back. but don’t hold out on it. i’ve actually been working on independent writing lately. i’m working on my concept for a novel that i really believe holds promise. and i’m hoping to get back to writing my freddie/zeller fic at some point.
