It's pretty common I guess now to have a school in your town get shot up so ik I'm not special for having one happen in my town. I almost was going to literally be there when it happened bc I was almost going to go to that school, but ended up going to a different one in that district. It was scary knowing that people that I knew personally were currently there especially with none of us knowing if the people that we cared about were okay or not. The people that I knew did end up all being okay but others were not so fortunate and It was devastating to our community. It still makes me cry to think about and it's been yearrsss. All this to say that I absolutely do NOT support or want such horrible things to happen. I am interested in this shit and that's all, I have some positive feelings towards a couple of perps but never for the really awful things that they did.

people fail to see the person behind the perpetrator sometimes. anyone could have done what they did; it is a matter of situation and circumstance. this does not mean their actions should be condoned or excused at all. the hurt they cause should not be brushed off or forgotten, and justice should be served to the victims and families of those affected and hurt. but that perpetrator could be anyone: a friend, a family member, a coworker, or a classmate. they could be you.

my first point also applies to members of the true cc who simply sexualize their "fav perps" and water them down to someone they deem attractive. like everyone subjected to fame by modern media, these individuals are more often than not reduced to their sex appeal, rather than analyzed for who they are, what they did, and why they did it. it is disheartening to see the decline of infoposts and more respectful content and the rise of a pure disregard for a perpetrator's character in favor of complete sexualization.

maybe this is an overreaction, but it feels this way.
