Eminem attacks Caitlyn Jenner in disgusting, transphobic freestyle 

On Thursday, Eminem reamed his latest crop of celebrities in a six-minute freestyle on the Sway in the Morning radio show. He tore into Donald Trump, Bill Cosby and Hillary Clinton, but directed perhaps most vitriolic attack toward Caitlyn Jenner. And to make matters worse, he tried to justify why it was OK for him to say things like that.

Sleeping Giraffes

Despite being the tallest animal, giraffes have the shortest sleep requirements of any mammal, sleeping an average of just 30 minutes per day. And when they do sleep, usually it’s just for a few minutes; until the 1950s, researchers believed that giraffes don’t sleep at all.

The giraffe is a prey animal, so many of its habits have evolved out of necessity. Since it’s difficult to lie down or get up quickly, sleeping is a huge liability. (Source)

The First Earth-Size Planet is Discovered

Astronomers have discovered the first Earth-size planet in the “habitable zone,” called Kepler-186f for reference.  Found by NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope, the discovery reaffirms that planets the size of Earth exist in habitable zone of stars other than the sun w know.

Although other planets have been found in the habitable zone, they have been at least 40% percent bigger than the size of Earth. 

NASA’s Astrophysics Division director Paul Hertz said: “The discovery of Kepler-186f is a significant step toward finding worlds like our planet Earth,

While Elisa Quintana, research scientist at the SETI Institute at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif said: 

“We know of just one planet where life exists – Earth. When we search for life outside our solar system we focus on finding planets with characteristics that mimic that of Earth.”

Ultimately, we know Kepler-186f’s size, but yet have to determine its composition, which it is suspected to be a rocky planet.

GREEN GLOW

Sean Hill, a graduate student in Kenneth Hanson’s research group at Florida State University, pours an eerie green-glowing solution of a boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) dye into an Erlenmeyer flask. The ultraviolet light (365 nm) emitted by the two devices on either side makes the dye glow. BODIPY dyes have unique optical properties that make them ideal for applications, such as biological imaging and solar energy conversion.
