The fingers that covered his eyelids, he knew that touch.
No, you idiot. Sheâs not here. He tried so hard to turn his head to look back, his body wasnât strong enough for even that as he fell backwards. His body caught, caught by a body he knew and became accustomed to. ârelax, Sasuke-kun.â Sakuraâs voice.
Sakura was his family. No matter where he was that fact would never change. Heâd never heard of such a thing as no longer being a family. Even when he held such strong emotions towards Itachi, heâd always be his family. No matter what happened in the shinobi world heâd always be ready to call him his brother.
For Sasuke, Sakura was family, his partner, the one he came home to. He didnât need a blood connection; his feelings wouldnât change because they canât be near each other often.
