Money can’t make money
All currencies—gold and bitcoin included—represent 1) wealth and 2) people’s trust in that wealth. This system of value exchange only works when there is wealth “production” and the only way wealth is produced is by workers, who add value to whatever they produce by their labor. But what happens when value declines in spite of work? This is DEFLATION, the destroyer of wealth, which ultimately causes inflation of the currency as a barometer of value. This is where, regardless of adding value with labor, the end product declines in value in the marketplace due to shrinking demand. Deflation is only possible under capitalism, because it represents a distortion of the productive forces under capitalism. Even when wealth is enhanced by work, the demand for said goods or services declines—reducing their value because people can’t afford them. When the rich hoard the supply of money, and charge interest for its use, there is no way for the natural exchange of money for the available goods or services to take place. Capitalists try to control the basic law of supply and demand. This is the fallacy of supply-side economics, where the capitalist, faced with a dwindling demand, cuts supply in order to raise prices, which accelerates the decline in value, causing a mass decline in economic activity. Fossil fuels are now experiencing this contraction, for example. Capitalist dig themselves a pit and then fall into it.
This is why NO currency can survive, because under deflation currencies can only represent a decline in wealth, and the loss of trust in the currency. When wealth decreases, currencies lose their relevance. They no longer sustain growth—they can only facilitate its decline. Raising interest rates doesn’t help, because money can’t create wealth, only work can do this, and when the value of the finished product slips below the cost of production, work ceases. This is a depression. Capitalists can’t make a profit, so they destroy the means of production, pauperizing the workers and reducing demand even further. In the end, this vicious cycle continues unabated until production is destroyed, wealth can no longer be created and currencies lose their value.
There is no hiding wealth when there is deflation. Assets, currencies and gold, etc. decline in value because they are only the means to exchange value. Currencies can only represent the decline in wealth—there is no production to support them. The last time a deflationary depression occurred was in the 1930s, and it took war—the wholesale destruction of wealth and the deaths of millions of workers—for capitalism to start the whole process over again, enslaving humans to work without compensation to rebuild production under a new set of exploiters. Capitalism has used this process of destruction and waste to rebuild itself again and again—until they’ve now actually destroyed Earth’s natural ability to provide the raw materials to enable them to rebuild wealth. The depression of the 1930s is like a picnic compared with what lies ahead. Capitalism has brought us the brink of extinction. All they can do is make the rubble bounce. The Earth itself has lost its productive capacity and the currency of capitalism, whatever form it takes, can only reflect this fact. This can only be reversed by the repudiation of capitalism and the implementation of socialist production: "From each according to his (or her) ability, to each according to his (or her) needs". Currencies, rather than represent wealth, only reflect the production of wealth—work. Capitalism has played the part of obstructing this simple law of production—and wealth creation. We have only a small window of opportunity to eliminate capitalism and employ socialism before we all die in the flames of this capitalist insanity—the dependence on interest rates (money “making” money) charged by the capitalist to restrict the sharing of wealth and to hoard it for themselves, a zero-sum game with no actual increase in wealth. Do your part now to eliminate capitalism and its destruction of wealth and replace it with socialist production and the creation of wealth!
What Tchiya Amet began in 2010 reached a kind of fruition last week when two other women came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct.
I can’t believe this needs to be said, but the rich are not doing you a service by employing you. They require you. Everything they have is contingent on the fact that you work for them and do what they say. Without you, the rich have literally nothing. Workers have power over the entire economy.
It is actually workers doing a major service to their employers by not unionizing and not starting a revolution, since literally the only thing workers need to do to grind the entire economy to a halt is put their hands behind their back and stop working. That is it. Workers could crash the entire machine in one moment if they wanted.
Stop calling them “job creators.” They aren’t. They literally require you. But you dont require them. You are wealth creators. And you have the power to take it back whenever you want. You just have to organize.

Full Moon - 23rd November 2018
The fall of trump
From the beginning I’ve felt that trump would fold when faced with a true opposition—not the phony “resistance” from the Democrats, but a real grass roots movement. The real threat to his bluster came from a newly forming coalition of POC, the millennials, progressives, and immigrants. Unlike the faded right-wing Clinton democrats who wilted and became enthusiastic collaborators, the new opposition comes in the form of Stacey Abrams, Colin Kaepernick, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, "Beto" O'Rourke and many other rising politically-aware progressives. They are just the tip of the iceberg. Following them into the spotlight are legions of much-more militant and socialistic people whose names we don’t yet know. When the Democratic party degenerates into a collection of outmoded zombies, a new batch of leaders will help us form a new party based on the interests of the working class—a broad alliance of all the disenfranchised people in America. Workers have yet to make their mark on American politics, they are hamstrung by a reactionary element that has taken over the unions, and led workers from one defeat to another. The center will not hold. This won’t happen by itself, and everybody has to get active and reach out to galvanize others to get active. Do your part!
Why is the stock market crashing?
A Closer Look: The fluctuation of oil prices is a result of the failed attempt to sanction Iran and to artificially drive prices higher. The BRIC countries refused to submit to US sanctions, and Trump had to give them "wavers" to save face. But the deeper, underlying problem isn't supply--it is demand, which reveals the real crisis of DEFLATION, which is the fatal disease of capitalism. As a result of myopic supply side economics, price discovery has been distorted since "peak oil" in 2014. A real drop in demand for oil cannot be fixed by any capitalist manipulation, since it reflects the crisis of overcapacity and shrinking industrial and consumer demand. The fall in demand is a direct result of the contraction of capitalist distribution. Capitalism only addresses profits, not the needs of global markets to expand to accommodate actual demand. The deflation of the value of commodities, in spite of real human needs, is the result. The only remedy for deflation, even if it is accompanied by hyper-inflation to increase profits, is the destruction of capacity--bankruptcy and eventually, war. That deflation now threatens oil profits is a sign of worse to come, no sector of capitalism is safe. Deflation, once it has infected world markets, leads to economic depression and war as sure as winter follows fall.

The Fall of the House of Trump
If his personal transits are a guide, Trump is due for a public drubbing; a review and audit of his sordid, criminal past which will mire him in layers of investigations and probes starting in August and continuing until the year's end. The pressure, which he is already feeling, will wear on his confidence, and weaken his appeal to the masses of Americans whose well-being and wealth are being sucked out of them. When their support erodes, perhaps as a consequence of the failure of his policies, he's done. One of the dangers that all Ophiuchus people face--Trump has his Moon in Ophiuchus, opposing his Sun--is persecution. Trump used his Ophiuchus Moon to bewitch a lot of voters, now this may backfire on him and open him up for a vicious attack from all quarters, regardless of the continuing support from his base of greedheads and white supremacists.
Below is a summation of some upcoming transits. From our reading, it looks like a cascading curtain of problems, from April to August, 2018, and then again in the fall and into the new year. There's a distinct possibly of his leaving office or his resignation in the spring of 2019. All interpretations are written by Stephanie Johnson.
Neptune Quincunx natal Chiron April-Sept 2018- Feb-March 2019 This can be a time of pain and confusion. It could be that you are physically in pain, suffering from an illness or accident; or perhaps you are suffering from emotional pain such as grieving for a loved one. Either way it is important that you are treated with kindness and love. It is also important to use this time to learn more about the cause of the pain. This could mean delving into alternative healing methods, or it could mean seeking answers to emotional problems. Anything that can shine a light on your troubles is helpful.
Pluto square Jupiter Aug-Oct 2018
During this time you will find it difficult to achieve your goals. It may be that you lack the confidence or energy needed to help you achieve your aims, or perhaps others will stand in your way. You should be wary of anyone appearing in the guise of guru or priest, particularly of an established church. You would also be wise to avoid legal battles during this transit, as they could prove very difficult under the influence of this energy.
Pluto retrograde Quincunx natal Uranus July 17-Dec 9 2018 (Pluto goes direct Oct 1) Sudden change marks this period. You may welcome the upheavals, but it is more likely that you will feel unsettled and somewhat resentful that external events, or other people, have disrupted your life. Unusual people may also enter your life challenging your status quo.
You may also feel stressed and nervous. You would be wise to make sure that you take time out for rest, and perhaps use the energies of this transit to try new and healthy routines.
Saturn opposition Mercury Pluto Quincunx Sun March, April, May, 2019
You are about to make powerful changes within yourself and these may be reflected in your life. It could be that you are going to walk away from a position of power that has turned sour or that a powerful event or activity in your life has come to a close. You are making these adjustments to search for your power within and to live a more honest life true to yourself. This time could be stressful or joyful.
Uranus in Aries: Freedom's Just Another Word for Nothing Left to Lose
Uranus means revolution, the sudden outburst of new ideas wiping out traditional restrictions and outmoded systems. The power of Uranus is the lightning bolt of inspiration, revelation and the unstoppable spread of a human demand for freedom. The question is, freedom for whom? The freedom for a few is not comparable with the freedom for the many. Is individual freedom really freedom? Or it it the height of selfishness? There is no real freedom until we are all free. This is at the the core of democracy.
Uranus entered Aries on April 26, 2018. In retrospect, when Uranus was in Pisces for the 10 years before that, from 2009, what we experienced was a sense of spiritual freedom, where subtle changes in our perceptions occurred behind the facade of a rampant capitalist expansion of repression and oligarchy. Uranus in Pisces is a quiet revolution, which occurs almost imperceptibly under the radar. Yet Pisces also divides us, by wealth, religion and politics. The symbol of Pisces, two fish swimming in opposite directions, is a clue to our irreconcilable differences, our opposing objectives. We have been living in the Age of Pisces, a 2600 year demarcation created by the precession of the equinoxes, since the birth of Christianity, that was itself divided between peace and war, compassion and cruelty. Primitive Christianity emerged as a innocuous belief in equality, only to transform itself as it took root as a vengeful force that sought to destroy all the vestiges of the older civilizations and religions. In spite of the connection with Jesus and love, Christianity became more aggressive as it assumed dominance and became synonymous with slaughter and slavery. Today's Christianity, in spite of its charter of love and pious humility has bred a culture in which pedophilia and misogyny flourish and provide absolution for corruption.
Likewise we find the Uranus in Pisces of our era guilty of many of the same vices, where revolutionary technology has been usurped and co-opted by the very elements it hoped to expropriate for the betterment of all. It is no accident that as we enter the twilight of Uranus in Pisces, the internet, which so bravely sought to liberate our minds a decade ago is now being commercialized, manipulated and censored by repressive governments and corrupt corporations. Pisces has the quality of opening the doors of perception, and then, as if fearful of the consequences, slamming them closed again.
How will Uranus in Aries be different? For one thing, Aries dismisses any form of dualism, Aries is a singularity wherein only one viewpoint can be permitted. Aries is bold where Pisces is passive, and it seeks to explore and conquer the unknown rather then glorify and worship sacrifice. Aries is action, Pisces is faith.
The last time that Uranus entered Aries, in 1934, Europe was on the brink of a World War. Hitler seized control of Germany and intensified his persecution the Jews; a military coup occurred in Bolivia; Japan broke its peace treaties with the US and Great Britain; the trade war between the US and Germany intensified; China's Red Army began the Long March; bank-robbers Bonnie and Clyde were shot dead by police.
Like Uranus' transits today, it entered Aires in mid-1934, only to retrograde back into Pisces and return to Aries in mid-1935. Some of the events of the second Aries transit included the assassination of populist politician Huey Long; France and Germany called for conscription to increase their military forces; the Harlem race riot; the League of Nations failed to prevent Italy's invasion of Ethiopia; Pope Pius XI warned his Cardinals of a coming world war; Stalin lowered the minimum age for the death penalty to 12 and Hitler declared pacifism punishable by death.
In 1850, another Uranus-Aries transit announced the onset of civil war. Harriet Tubman founded the Underground Railroad; the Pinkertons, a goon squad used to crush worker's movements, was established; the British accelerated the export of its criminals to western Australia, and the Heavenly Army clashed with European imperialists in China.
The Uranus-Aries configuration that occurred in 1767 was a prelude to the American Revolution. The colonies rejected taxation without representation by the British Crown and demanded the repeal of the Stamp tax. This marked the beginnings of a resistance movement in Massachusetts which resulted in the Boston Massacre in 1770. (The armed rebellion, however, didn't start in earnest until Uranus entered Taurus in 1774.)
In all these instances, Uranus in Aries signaled the build up of sharpening class and economic divisions which irrevocably led to war and revolution as social contradictions hardened.
As Malcolm X reminded us, "There's no such thing as a non-violent revolution. Revolution is bloody. Revolution is hostile. Revolution knows no compromise. Revolution overturns and destroys everything in its path." Revolution is something that appears only in the most dire circumstances, and leads to a complete breakdown of the social order. Revolution is the final sacrifice of the oppressed, and the end game of the existing system.
On August 5, 2018, Uranus will go retrograde, re-entering Pisces on Dec 9, before it goes direct again in January, 2019. This period may indicate that freedom for the masses will be ambushed by selfish freedom, the power of the rich over the poor, again leading to a another passive phase of non-violent protest, until the situation ripens to confrontation and conflict when Uranus re-enters Aries in February. 2019 may announce an irrevocable build-up of anger as the pent up forces of revolution once again find the energy to hit back at the clique of parasites that hold them in bondage. This may preface and accompany an outbreak of global conflagration.
Oppression breeds hopelessness, and then sparks resistance. We must accept that these titanic forces, both local and global, may simmer and deepen before the actual explosion. We can never predict nor fully understand the flash point that starts any mass rebellion. The start of a series of social upheaval seems likely after Mars enters Aries and conjuncts with Uranus, both at zero degrees in that sign, on February 13, 2019. All revolutions are preceded by periods of great misery, corruption, betrayal and pain. In the red haze of revolutionary zeal, all thoughts of self-preservation are lost, and the great roiling sea of discontent can suddenly turn into a tidal wave of change. Perhaps in our new golden age of information we can avoid the historic tendency of self-destruction, and instead usher in a new renaissance of revolution and resolution to solve our problems. If not, we can expect an era of great suffering. Now is the time to work toward a peaceful transfer of power from the few to the many.
Uranus is in Aries now. On August 5, Uranus will retrograde for five months, until Jan 5, 2019, back into Pisces. Uranus will re-enter Aries February 5.
“Stop hiding your pain and suffering. We are all feeling it. Commune with us. Commune with the world. Resist the urge of individualism and re-merge with the masses. We are stronger together. We need to rely on one another. Cry on our collective shoulder, which is always wet with tears. Share the burden you carry with others. How do you feel? Are you healthy? Tell us of your ailments. We will listen. Talk about your addiction. Whisper to us your self-doubt and guilt. Are you always tired? Do you sleep? You eating right? You need advice on the day to day? Speak of your struggles and sufferings! Commiserate this capitalist life with us. Mumble to be what you lost and what to find. Re-paint this world with the real, instead of the fake. We can start there. Assessing our fuckery. Understanding our plight. We will walk the road will you. More will find this path. The road is heavy with refugees who search for anything else.”

Full Moon in Ophiuchus--May 29
In a few days we’ll be having a full Moon in Ophiuchus. This is of special significance since Ophiuchus is so basic to the lunar calendar and is linked historically and psychologically to the Moon. It will particularly effect those with the Moon in Ophiuchus, and activate their emotions throughout the transit. (If you don't know your true Moon sign, click here.)
The chart above shows what the sky will look like on May 29. With the Sun trine Pluto and the Black moon in Sagittarius we can expect some major changes in our individual lives, perhaps even disruptive changes that will permanently alter us. Ophiuchus normally works undercover, like a seed that has been planted and which takes time to show itself. The Moon’s square with Neptune will mean that we’ll be hypnotized by our own fantasies during this period, which can lead to disillusionment later on. Dark Star astrology says this transit is “one of the most sensitive and compassionate aspects one can have, but sometimes its idealism can be misplaced, unrealistic and impractical.”
Key elemnets of the chart: A square with Uranus in Aries and Mars in Capricorn can mean conflict, accidents, and sudden endings. Uranus is also trine Saturn, and our sense of security can be shaken up if we don't keep our feet on the ground. Venus is opposition Pluto/Black Moon and this can wreck a lot of relationships if we don't give generously to those we care about. It doesn't help that we can fool ourselves with too much optimism, since relationships can't flourish without constant cultivation.
The dangers are that we see what we want to see, and we are not honest with others. The real message from Ophiuchus, its compassion, can be obscured by our reliance on subterfuge, addictions, escapism and even criminal behavior--a belief that things can be achieved without hard work.
If we relate this transit with the shenanigans of Donald Trump, we see how this can operate. If we believe in miracles, we can be fooled by charlatans who want to take advantage of us. Although a misplaced faith in Ophiuchus can convince us that things can happen as if by magic; events are ruled by reality, and Ophiuchus can only show us how to respond. If there’s any magic to Ophiuchus, it’s that they can see what we cannot. That clarity of thought can only be obscured by Neptune. The best way to honor this transit is to sing, dance, and make art that can inspire others with our idealism and love. Art is not reality, but it can help us navigate reality.
