Managing not to sneer at the creature the Jedi thought wise enough to lead them, the Supreme Chancellor greeted his guest with a warm smile and took a seat himself. “I hope you can, Master Yoda. I have no doubt you are aware of the increasing number of systems threatening to secede from the Republic. The strength of these Separatists is growing, and evidence has already been provided that they were responsible for a number of crises on various planets that caused them to join their cause. I fear more disasters are being planned, and would implore the Jedi to help prevent them.”
