So the Zayne one was $90, I know I could probably charge more but I like art being accessible 💕 I can't take a ton of commissions or anything with having a full time job but I love to paint in my free time

Zayne❄️ inspired painting

I wish I was kidding when I said this took a while, all of the frost was done individually and of course doing regular frost was too boring, it needs to be prettier 😌 I'm glad I did though because I absolutely LOVE how it ended up💕

Finished my painting for Caleb 💕 honestly loved working on this one so much!! I feel like I've learned so much in just one year of painting again, it's been so long since I've painted at all. So so thankful to @itzpookiepooh for all the inspiration for my lads paintings and helping me get back into painting in general 💕💕

Some things just remind you of people. For me people are flowers

Delphinium reminds me of a new friend but really she is a cosmos. A suitably named flower- that is also infinite space. But the blue ones specifically, hard to find but you want to enjoy forever when you find them.

Someone that comes in often usually buys sunflowers, which was funny to me since she's the embodiment of the flower itself. Strong and solid, basks in the sunlight and glows just as brightly

My best friend Anna is dianthus, beautiful whether or not it's bloomed. A flower I'd want to have around forever but wanes in the winter, too cold to bloom at all. But I'll never not enjoy it's company

My best friend Jenn reminds me of rambling roses, spreading out everywhere and leaving the garden covered in petals. Some may find the scent overbearing but I could live in it

My parents are daisies and lilies, an uncommon pair but work well together if neither one is too overpowering

Every person I meet leaves a lasting impression, I find every one worth remembering - good or bad. Don't let the flowers in your soul rot away; enjoy them, water them, stop and smell the flowers. Take that moment to stop and enjoy the present even if it's only that one moment.

The last 2 years I've been worried about Valentine's Day as a florist. This year it feels comforting, nothing has really changed it just feels different somehow.

With so many things weighing heavily on all of us maybe it's the routine, maybe it's the rush where I'm never not busy, maybe it's the flowers themselves that are so comforting, or maybe it's none of that.

Honestly I really like the idea that people take home things that I create (or had a hand in creating) and that thing is bringing someone joy. That the flowers are going to show someone some kind of love.

I both hope that I don't run out but also that I do. Its so gratifying seeing all my hard work mean something to so many people.
