Lies

Lying, we are all guilty of committing this crime. We say that we do it to protect the ones we love the most, but your just lying to yourself when you say that. We lie because we are selfish by nature, we lie for self preservation so that the ones we love don't look at us differently. We allow people to see what we want them to see. People say they want the truth but they are lying. When people get the truth it hurts like hell. They say the truth hurts but is lying any better, they both hurt just as much. Both causing a strain on your relationship with one another. How can we say that lying is no good when the truth is no better. If we can't lie or speak the truth, then what is there to say? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
