I strongly dislike the "I fucking love science" crowd. I say this, as a scientist. While this type of person is generally arrogant and insufferable, the most egregious crime is the "you should believe scientists" mentality.

I'm not sure they understand how science actually works. The whole thing rests on us NOT believing scientists and running every possible experiment to prove them wrong.
