It has become increasingly clear to me how "complex woman" has become a stand-in for "rude". Even if that rudeness is pretty much the only thing going on about her. And no, being kickass is not something that makes you complex.

It's the modern version of Real Women Don't Wear Dresses, and it's no less sexist than insisting that women have to be cute and nurturing and nothing else.

I know modern internet culture has shaped how people interact with one another, but no, being an asshole is not a substitute for having a personality, both for real people and fictional characters :V
