Sebenarnya highlight episode 27 tuh banyak banget. Mulai dari Bei Jie yg mengungkap konspirasi perdana menteri, Bei Jie bertemu lagi dg sepupunya (raja Jin, Sima Hong), Shuo Er yg tdnya hanya dayang malah jadi ratu Jin, noble consort (lupa namanya) kehilangan statusnya, dll. Tapi gw mau higlight part ini. Karena lom ad sub nya, sop iler dulu dr trailernya. Bei Jie: "Bei Jie only wanna ask Your Highness one question. For all these years, for the sake of throne, what did you get? And what did you lose?"
Yao Tian: Can you swear that you will not become king of Bai Lan state? He Xia: I've take a path with no retreat. Yao Tian: There is a way to retreat. Can't you feel his existence? 2nd lead OTP in General and I (Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang). His insecure rise from all the hatred toward his former family, but her insecure made him hate all people of the world. And this is my 2nd post in tumblr. From the beginning, not only manhua, novel, but drama itself, I don't like He Xia character. I pitied him in earlier period of his life after massacre in Jiang An' manor. But, not use this as 2nd chance in life, he waste his life to pursue ambition that rise from hatred. In the end, his quest bring death to his only woman that ever truly love him. I love Yao Tian better in drama. As former captive princess who banish by his own brother, the former Qin' king state, her comeback as solely heir of Bai Lan state not made her secure her own position as empress in her country. With that, its rational to made her character very manipulative. She pursue his husband love which in the end lead to her death and downfall of her kingdom.

I choose to edit those pic with some detail from the character. And you will see how in each point they contrary each other. But like north and south pole, attract the other by its charisma.
So far had watch for 12 episode with eng sub and force to understand episode 13 to 17 just by knowledge from the novel.
The drama and the novel itself differ in many plot and scene. Maybe some people whk already read the novel gonna disappoint with the drama. But for me, I love the drama more, for successfully telling background stories that not much present in the novel. For 62 episodes, I do hope there will be many plot and development to waiting for.
